Took my 2024 S3 for a stage 1 tune, APR intake, AWE catback exhaust and new rims. They got everything done really quick. Matt was awesome and helpful with the recommendations without pushing me. Very professional guy! My car feels awesome and sounds the way it should. Awesome experience and I will be returning for my car mods, needs and service.

I went to GMP performance because they were listed as an authorized dealer for Quicksilver Exhausts. after I communicated via email with the manufacture directly who instructed what to do to try to solve the problem of the frozen valve.
When I went for the appointment to GMP I explain to Drew the problem that one of the two valves is not closing and I exchanged with him all the emails that I had with the manufacture.
He said they will do diagnostic service and check it. After few minutes he came back to me and said that the other valve isn’t working either. He took me to the shop to show me that and I was shocked to find out that the technician has no clue how is this system works ( which use an App to open and close the valve via special box located near the battery in the rear trunk).he was checking and using the exhaust button in side the car ( which this system always bypass it and don’t use)
When I showed him that the other valve is working well and nothing wrong with the system. He said “oh, some times they use the original button”. They did not bother check the stuck valve it self. He charge me a full diagnostic service fees and said he will reach out to the manufacturer via email and get back to me. After 3 weeks of emails with the manufacture , they came up with plan to replace the valve and me pay for it and labor which was several hundreds of dollars. I went to regular car shop and he checked the valve and found that it the spring above it need to be repositioned. I paid there less what I paid for the diagnostic service at GMP and It has been working well since.
I was very disappointed with GMP performance technician and service advisor. Maybe they are only good with major work, but they cannot fix this small one.

Amazing service and knowledgeable team. There was an issue with my aftermarket exhaust and GMP worked directly with the manufacturer (2x because company sent an incorrect one for the first replacement) and resolved everything. More than satisfied. Matt and his team were great. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately mechanics and car technicians can have bad reputations. A car owner is always thinking, “ Am I getting ripped off?” “Do I really need this part or service?”
You will never feel that way when taking your car to GMP! Their staff is very knowledgeable about German autos and take the time to explain to you what you may or may not need. Whether it is maintenance, repairs, accessories, or storage, GMP has you covered! Excellent experience start to finish. I highly recommend this company. Ask for Drew or Phillip and tell them Dr. Z sent you!

GMP went above and beyond with their prepurchase inspection for me, and all at a fair price. Unfortunately in today’s world you can’t even trust some of the big name dealers. GMP saved me big time and found tons of concerning evidence on the car that was NOT communicated to me by the dealer (potential rollover accident, cosmetic imperfections, startup issues). Will certainly use them again.

I recently moved to Waxhaw and needed my Mercedes E550 serviced. GMP was recommended by a friend. I received a quote promptly and I have never worked with a nicer service team. Oh, and it was about half the price of what I would have paid at my old dealer. I have a new service team for life!
