This is my favorite food Lion to go to in Charlotte. I am a regular and that is due to outstanding customer service and the store being neat, clean and organized. Great prices, fresh produce, everything is fresh. They always surprise me with fresh flowers every now and again. If I'm being honest although it's sweet of them, I do give to my mother. I know she will take good care of them. Overall, I haven't had any bad experiences. Thanks to all the staff that work hard.

This is the first time I have come into Food Lion and had a very bad experience. I came to the check out line and I was trying to get the cashiers attention. She was a rather tall African American woman with long braids. After finally getting her attention because she was in an engrossed conversation with Cortez, she turned around and rang up my ice cream. Just to make friendly conversation I asked her did she have a crush on Cortez because I could barley get them apart from talking just to lighten up the mood. She was very friendly but Cortez stormed over to us and asked her what did I say and she told him. Cortez lost it. He got upset because I asked her that and he protested he swings for the other side. He Shoved his finger nails in my face and was loud enough for the whole store to hear. He was so ghetto loud and out of control with no Decorum and no professionalism. I left there with a knot in my stomach and I could see the embarrassment on the cashiers face. If your gay that's fine do you but you don't have to shove that in everyone's face. Then he preceded to tell me that he was a libra or Leo and that's how they behaves. In my mind I was thinking GHETTO? is the behavior of the day. I'm almost positive that I'm not the only with this complaint for his brash behavior. I pray the next time I come into this store that I won't have to deal with that. You don't have to run around to tell everyone you are gay and forced that down our throats. If we say something back then its oh we are gay bashing but really we are being bullied into excepting this ghetto brash unprofessionalism behavior as normal.

Stop there during our vacation for some drinks. Customer was nice and store was clean.

Stay away, customer service is non existent. Nearly every worker you come into contact with hates themselves and their job. Can't believe this place isn't closed, this can't be sustainable.

(My 1star is on service only not the store and its products) I’m frequent shopper at this location and depending the day and hour dedicates what type of service your gonna get and most nights the staff is slack attitudes are terrible.. you’d feel like your bothering them. My recent visit I had a question about this sale with the Cashier Quinn and got no help at all no verbal communication at all just a blink stare and point at the price on the screen. and to live in the community most of us have mutual complaint I’d suggest best time to shop when the Manager is in if you want decent ok service/customer service

This is my second time in this store since I moved here . Cashier on March 2nd was very rude , unkind,unprofessional and absolutely no any humans manner.Today I went for second time and the customer service cashier she was that same or even worse I have to say. I have item that was wrong priced and she wasn’t happy that she has to do refund.Ladie was waiting behind me and she told her plain blank “ I am on my break “ and walked away. Line needs to hire a happy people and professional. I will not go there again.

Brought yogurt on 1-5-24 … went home put groceries up a few days later… I went and grabbed the yogurt and the date said 11-23 .Very disappointed
