Bought a Flexi 'Classic Cord' dog leash; not even 2 months old and the cord began to fray. My previous one was handed down from my parents, and lasted more than 10 years so I did love the brand. Flexi responded "...the cords and tapes of flexi leashes are woven from extremely robust fibers. This ensures that the leash will not rib or break, provided it is used in accordance with our operating instructions." I walk my dog with it. What kind of operating instructions do you need? I do NOT recommend Flexi, as the quality, is not what it once was.

They were closed so I couldn't get my load. No "Live" loads if nobody is there.

Great people in the Warehouse. Driveway into office/warehouse is twisty and narrow. It was hard to stay on the pavement with my 40 ft trailer, a 53 ft trailer would be even harder. Bad design.

Not a cheap purchase, unfortunately the quality is terrible! Almost lost my daughter's dog twice. First leash broke right at the clip. I exchanged it with no issue, thinking it might have been a freak defect. The replacement broke at almost the same spot. Got a full refund with no issue, because apparently, I was told by the employee of the store that it is a common occurrence with that product. I wrote the company and their response was that it appeared to have been severed by something sharp and would not warranty it. Very disappointing. I see a law suit in their future if someone's dog is injured or killed. Good luck Flexi.

PRODUCT WARNING! • FLEXI RETRACTABLE DOG LEASH - Contains BPA I purchased a new Flexi retractable leash with a couple accessories. I was very pleased with the intuitive design of the product and pretty excited to use it, that is until I took a second look at the fine print on the back of the packaging. It turns out, Flexi retractable leashes are literally toxic to touch, as they contain Bisphenol A (BPA). There is controversy surrounding the presence of BPA in plastics used for food and handling, but according to various sources, even touching materials containing BPA is considered toxic. I take my dog on three to four walks a day; that's three to four times per day of up to thirty minutes each walk of gripping a toxic plastic handle of a very popular and supposedly trusted brand dog leash. Flexi's website reads as follows: "...Each model is assembled by hand and undergoes various quality checks before your tail-wagger actually gets to use it. The reward: uncompromising standards of perfection that will satisfy the needs of even the most energetic dog." I tried calling the manufacturer several times during normal business hours to inquire about their use of this toxic chemical in their products. No one answered. I am very disappointed with Flexi and their lack of standards in creating products that are safe to use.
