Been there many times over the years, but now it's a cash only store and a worthless, overpriced ATM ( like most are). Looked online and they claim you can use your card (debit/charge), but nope. Prices are extremely high for a " Family Dollar". Might as well be shopping at a gas station. And no, I will never go back.

This store charges slightly more for their goods compared to the other nearby family dollars. It might be only a few dimes extra on each product but it really adds up when you’re buying essentials. I suggest you go to the Sunset or Old Statesville locations if possible. The employees are alright.

Why is this store even still opened? Who owns it? And do they even care about the customer care/satisfaction?! It’s obvious they don’t. The staff is inconsistent because they can’t keep anyone, they always having some type of issue. I just went in and was told they’re only accepting cash only. Either their machine is always down or they never have what you came for

Obviously corporate office does not care about customer satisfaction. This store has inconvenienced everyone by closing and opening when they want. Rude and lazy employees very unprofessional. I have to drive across town when this location is closer. If you're not going to run the store the way it should shut down or get some professional people in there that loves working in retail.

The time on the GPS is wrong, it says 10:00pm but on the door it says 9:00pm.

Check out the photos. The outside always looks dirty and never clean. Kind of depressing shopping here.
I just stopped by to check it out. When I shopped there in 2007, was nicer and cleaner. Family dollars, like Dollar General places there stores in so..so.. neighbors to take advantage of the locals.
At least clean the parking lot, repaint the parking spaces and clean the store refrigeration systems. You may need to close the store for a few days toale it presentable.
Now, they did got rid of that insulting announcement upon entering the store... "The is Family Dollar, we don't trust you so we will announce a fake security scan for our minority customers.."
Now I should review a family dollar in a upscale neighborhood... Oops they don't do that. Okay, somewhere close to a nice area.
I think, they should review their mission statement and design the stores to respect the customers.
Now, the woman at the register was pleasant and I have no issues with her. She was cool to talk with.

Employees are rude and ghetto. Never fails and it’s always different ghetto person. They burning incense inside the store at the register like it’s a tobacco shop. Shelves never stocked. Store just junkie.

Terrible!!!! Very poor customer service, out of everything, dirty parking lot, dirty store. I blame Family Dollar for everything because they hire the worst person you can get. They allow this store to close when they want. I'm going to complain all the way to the top.

Such an inconvenience can’t stop by the store after work because they lock the doors at 7:30 when they see you walking up.
