I went in about almost closing for dog food, every other store kept meeting at the door saying there were closed when the sigh had a different hour listed (ummmm yea)with a nasty attitude as if I did something., I'd say find another job if ur miserable.for the company to have a person in that manner is not good for business (way to go employee of the month (DG Store).
But not the lady at family dollar . She helped me regardless of how tired she felt with a smile . Thank u I appreciate you.. I wish I would of gotten her name. It happen so fast.
Plus it was one of the cleanest storres I have been to

Worst store ever, cashier said she don’t have change for a 50$ bill but I’m buying 10$ woth of stuff. So you mean to tell me you don’t have any 20s, or 10s to give me back, very bad service

Literally no leadership In the building or just don’t care what their employees are doing! Was just in there on today 10/21 around 3.45p and was waiting in line and the cashier girl was on FaceTime while ringing customers out and customers in line! Literally telling all her business and cussing and making that FaceTime more important then showing customer service. No other workers stepped in to correct her or pull her to the side to let her know that wasn’t appropriate at that time! I don’t mind not being greeted walking in because that’s expected when the workers aren’t properly trained or know what is expected from them when they are clocked in! I hope someone steps in and coach and correct that worker. She had on no name tag so couldn’t get her name but I’m a manager myself and I would never allow that to be okay in my place of business and allow anything to affect the representation of myself or my establishment!

The store is located in the correct demographic for the customer base that they serve. The store was clean It did not reek of any marijuana or any other illicit narcotics which is a very good change for this store where it's located. The staff that was in there was courteous friendly and professional. Woefully under trained and not having the ability to make adjustments. They made the biggest mistake in retail which is to have one price on the shelf and another price in the skew system so I guess what I would have to do is go back and deal with the manager at a later time and date to get this rectified but overall it was the standard experience based on the neighborhood and the individuals that come to this location in the people that they employ I was not looking for Tiffany service I was looking for competent service and I got competent service.

As me and my friend make it down the aisle to the socks Ii swearthe clerk voice that was cussing at us came down saying you know what I’m talking about man at the end he made his way to the aisle we were shopping at and kept cussing at us and saying you know what you did I’m trying to figure out what in the world is someone at family Shopping store raising there voice cussing in the first place .close down low income areas with family dollar because they label everyone .for instance I’ve not been in this stores since spring and before they see them.. we have made it close to the back by the time he was cussing walking torwards us been at family Dollar plenty of time at a low income area . and lately this is not the first time but the second that an employer comes at us like this and says that we have stole from them so I’m going to file a complaint and let everyone know that if you’re going to steal and don’t put a store in that area

I was there on September of past year. I was 5 months pregnant and had my two young kids with me. The manager said I gave her attitude so she told me to leave. As I was leaving, she followed me around the store talking about me being a bad mom in front of two young kids. She followed me outside and got in my face. My son told her to leave me alone and she told him to shut up. A child. Then started talking badly about my two young children. They were in tears. Absolutely disgusting behavior from an adult and manager.
