Just because the location is where it is don't mean it gives the workers the right to be unpleasant. The lady was rude and arugementive. When all I wanted to do was feed my cravings with my favorite snack that I knew they would have.

I try to shop here to support the business in Grier Plaza. It was very hard today as the check out counter was soo filthy I didn't want to lay my merchandise down
They had no bags which I didn't mind but I do mind the cleanliness issue. I may not return.
I hope this could be addressed then I would return
Also the clerks could improve on their customer service.

I went to return an USB cord this morning that was purchased last night. I was told by Aaron the store does not accept returns on electronics. I read my receipt and looked on the rack where the item was displayed, I didn't see the no return policy printed on the receipt or posted on the display. I don't hold Aaron responsible, I blame poor training and not having a manager on sight.

Good experience. Cashier was open and friendly. The manager was very helpful in answering my question about a product. Though Family $ didn't carry it he gave suggestions where I might find it. And I found it the next day at a different store!

There's one lady in there that is extremely rude. And the manager does not want to do anything about it maybe it's just me and she doesn't like me. But when I walked in the last time she hollered oh there's white trash. If I said that to her they would be a lawsuit against me. I hate Prejudice people regardless of which way it goes. Will be calling corporate Monday. And this is not the first time that she's been rude the first time I chalk it up they're having a bad day second time you just don't like me but today was uncalled for.

Nobody wants to work the register here. However, they will engage in unrelated to business chatter, often filled with explicits, to no end. Every now and then they get an employee who works. Yes you guessed it. After a couple of weeks, you won't see that employee anymore. This Family Dollar is closest to me. Still, I will prefer to go to Plaza or Independence Blvd location.

Haven't been in here much since the pandemic started & especially since getting online delivery from a couple other stores.Why 2 stars? Very rarely do I get customer service that is polite with the exception of a few. Maybe some see me & think I'm meaner than I am, I don't know. There was one fella in particular that I snapped at because he seemed to always be frustratingly slow at checking out & I usually get him when I'm in a hurry and/or already didn't want to be there (I did feel bad for snapping at him later but next time few times I saw him, it changed and also realized, it wasn't just me who took issue with him). And he already didn't seem to like me much as is (last time I was there, he was gone). Other cashiers and employees, not very polite either. Maybe a handful were. The more recent times I was there, there was a tall male cashier who was always funny, blunt & took no mess from what I saw. He could be intimidating if you let it be that but I liked him. I don't know if he's still there or not, haven't been in a few months. He is the only reason this store us getting two stars. Any time I'd go in there over the last few years, it was hot. They had to put fans in the store which only did so much. I'm already hot natured so that just became an irritation.Thats not their fault, I know. This store seems to have a huge turn over. I understand why. I've come across some customers that would probably make Jesus himself want to smack them because of how they acted. It's usually fairly clean when I go in there (looks a lot better than the Eastway store. Even though Eastway has more stuff). Maybe its because of the area it's in that makes it so that the corporate office doesn't care (which is dead wrong) but they do need to do something to get it together.
