This is a newer hotel located in the University Research Park area in Charlotte. The check-in and check-out was great. Unfortunately, gold rewards members do not get complimentary water bottle or snack, only platinum and titanium statuses. Also, you have to have to tell the front desk a day ahead if you want your room cleaned. With that said, after my room was cleaned, the crew didn't even dump the trash.

My experience was disappointing. The best thing was its location! Rooms were basic. Staff was extra rudeFront Desk lady asked if we were in town for concert and we said yes. She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth and said, "Yeah, I figured "My husband wouldn't let me say anything in response but I wanted to ask her why would she say that! I felt like because I was white and lynard SKYNARD was playing I got a "yeah, I figured ".We actually went for zztop and left when SKYNARD came to the stageBut it's a moote point now.Just wish we had better interaction with staff

They have helped us out with some interim meeting locations. Good facilities, and the room atmosphere is a setting for getting work done!

Rooms were very nice and clean. Located close to PNC music Pavillion, downtown Charlotte, the NoDa Neighborhood, and many more. The only thing I didn't like was during check-in, the associate had in a single ear bud and was clearly having a personal conversation when I came in. She continued her conversation while checking me in which made it awkward and was rather rude. Otherwise, everything was fine and the ladies who checked us out in the morning were very nice.Rooms: Very clean and well designed.Nearby activities: Close to many venues, restaurants, districts, and shopping.

I had a very comfortable 2 day stay. The rooms and hotel were pretty and cleanRooms: My room was well equipped and the view was very nice. I could just sit and gaze out the window all day. It overlook a lush green scenic view

Everyone we dealt with was great. Both female managers when we checked in were very pleasant. We stayed there to go to a concert and one of the managers told us where numerous places were to go eat. We came back and "crashed" after the concert and got up for breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic and the lady working it, Anita, was very attentive. She was constantly restocking, cleaning up, and pleasantly interacting with clients. For being a continental breakfast, you couldn't ask for anymore. To me, with everything offered, it was just shy of a buffet. with eggs, sausage, cereals, muffins, bagels, english muffins, yogurts, fruits, etc....I could go on and on. If you left here hungry, it was your own fault. This was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Anita did an awesome job! We even got to enjoy the pool for a little while before checkout which we had all to ourselves. It was a nice relaxing stay and for once I didn't feel rushed.

I recently stayed at Fairfield Inn and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, and I decided to upgrade to a suite for just $10, which was definitely worth it. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. I want to particularly mention Sophia, who worked at the front desk. She was extremely interactive and hospitable, making sure that all my needs were met I would definitely consider staying here again. The only downside was the breakfast, as the eggs (maybe carton or powdered) could have been better and it would have been nice to have some potatoes. Despite this, my overall experience was not greatly affected as there were other delicious breakfast items available. The location was perfect as well! Close to everything! I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it to others.

DO NOT stay here. Not a safe neighborhood. I stayed and had to park in the shared parking lot due to Fairfield Inn parking lot being full. My car was broken into, and the manager was condescending towards me saying sorry I was broken into in the other hotels parking lot. Very unprofessional. I’m a platinum elite member and this is how I was talked to. Will start going to Hilton moving forward

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte University Research Park is a great choice for me because it was about 8 to 9 minutes from the event I was attending. My stay was very pleasant because my room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was a decent size. I loved that the room had a microwave and a mini fridge.I really appreciate the friendly staff, especially Shaeka. She answered my questions and assisted me with any challenges I may have encountered.My room was equipped with modern amenities including comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, work desks, and free Wi-Fi.The hotel did have a complimentary breakfast which included a selection of hot and cold items such as eggs, sausages, cereals, fresh fruits, and pastries. The breakfast area is clean and well-maintained.The hotel also features additional amenities such as a fitness center and an outdoor pool. Although I didn't use it either. I went into the fitness center to fill my water bottle.The location of Fairfield Inn & Suites is conveniently located close to some restaurants that are within walkable distance.If I need a hotel in this area, I would definitely want to come back to this location.

Great service and room. We stayed for about a week. The only issue I had is that there is obviously no “quiet” time and no insulation in the windows or walls, or people just don’t care how loud they are at midnight or 3:30 am. They have the fire pit outside their window and people were sooooooo loud I could hear them plain as day talking, from the second floor, at both times and tried sleeping. By the time way, it is currently 3:52 am and I am trying to go back to sleep, from not being able to fall asleep because of noise happening at midnight. “Oh that is so funny” that people are saying out there. Again, plain as day.

I wish I grabbed the name of the person that was at the front desk but today (June 9th) he was so nice. My daughter has high energy an to some places we’ve went to the front desk would seem annoyed by her. But he seem so understanding and interacted with her.Breakfast here was great they have a lot to choose from. Our room was nice and clean. I really don’t have any complaints honestly. When we take a trip to the south again this will always be our go to rest stop!

They were able to get me a room for immediate check in at 11am. The hotel was immaculate! Everyone was very friendly and full of smiles. The lady that greeted me and checked me in was very pleasant. The room was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot with plenty of water pressure. I felt at home here. Will definitely be back!

When I tell you that this was the best service I've ever received at this location. The front desk guy, Ted, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made everything a breeze. I will definitely let our HR associates with Duke Energy know how efficient he was, So when we book for our next stays here we know to ask for him. He was so informative about local eateries and stores in the area. He kept a smile on his face the whole time that we were interacting with him. So polite and friendly. Even when we came down for things that we had forgotten or to the corner market, he was so patient with us and friendly. He definitely made the stay that much better. We will definitely ask for Ted anytime that we want to book accommodations or need assistance in the future. Duke Energy thanks you Ted!! We look forward to working with you again!!
