Awful customer service and their items are packaged incorrectly. I thought I was buying a pink shower cap since the package was labeled pink and once I got home and opened it, it was this ugly blue color. They would not let me return it. They did not care that they sold me the wrong color. Spend your money elsewhere! Your business will not prosper with poor customer service.

Do NOT go here. I don't care if you live across at the University. Go to Hope Beauty or Tisun. I greeted the two workers in there. All I had in my hands was my phone and wallet. One of the ladies came behind the counter and watched me in the isle while pretending to be on the phone. I was in the store less than 2 minutes. It's African run but the clearly are still anti black

I gave it a three star review because it's neat, organized and clean. I had no issues finding what I was looking for, after walking up and down each aisle. However, after several visits, I've concluded that the customer service is just lacking. They don't say hello when you walk in the door, they don't ask if you need help, and they don't speak to you when you come to do your purchase. If they could just be friendly, I would patronize them more often. I did bring it up to the owner once, but nothing has changed in my follow up visits.

I really like this store but they do hover over you as if you're going to steal. It's not as inviting as I would like. I would recommend going to Hope beauty store less than a mile down the same street. It's larger & the employees are helpful

The store is nice and I loved that it's black owned. My last visit I felt like I was being followed and watched. The lady was hovering over me, just standing behind me and waited a good minute before asking me for help. I was taking my time trying to decide which color, curl pattern and length hair I wanted since they didn't have long lengths. This was my second time shopping there and will be my last. I don't tolerate that mess, it's not worth it trying to support black own business and be treated like that. I paid and left and realized I got the wrong hair which can't be returned so thanks but no thanks! Taking my money and business elsewhere!
