I wanted to send a special thank you and acknowledge the staff at DoubleTree Charlotte Airport. We celebrated our family reunion last week here at Double Tree Charlotte Airport 2600 Yorkmont Rd. The staff was amazing and accommodating, from the front desk, kitchen staff and housekeepers. I stood in awe of how patience the management team in orchestrating our stay our family participants count was over 110 in number. We felt as if the staff was apart of our family.\\nOn Saturday night we had a 70’s theme dinner and dancing. The front desk members joined in on the celebration and dressed the part. Little touches like that do not go unnoticed.

I had an emergency which resulted in my needing immediate accommodations. The front desk representative, Deborah B, was the absolute BEST!!! The food was delicious. The pool nice and secluded. Great gym. All workers were highly attentive to all my specific needs.Rooms: Very clean and the staff was very responsive to all my needs.Safety: I felt very safe as a solo traveler and quite comfortable as I walked to the food plaza just across the street from the hotel in the event you desired more choices from the hotel.Food & drinks: Food was delicious and the restaurant prices were reasonable as well. Opened ftom 5pm to 11pm, which are decent hours.

Recommend this hotel for the staff. Kali at the front desk was OUTSTANDING! She was very welcoming and had all of our hypoallergenic needs met in a flash. The front desk during a previous stay was also very considerate and "babysat" our luggage for hours while we went downtown.

All was fine until I didn't receive housekeeping as advertised. I followed the rules and requested ahead of time.After being out all day. I was looking forward to a refreshing tidy room.if I would have known that housekeeping is just a front and not available. I would have taken the trash out ,made my bed and wiped down independently. Versus returning to an overflowed trash can, unmade beds and dusty furniture.Otherwise it was nice and quiet.Bring your own cleaning supplies and prepare to clean and make beds as if you're at home and NOT in a paid hotel nor on vacation.Noteworthy details: Give folks what they pay for(housekeeping)

Not a bad place. Called the Charlotte Airport Double Tree, but the ride in the shuttle bus ( you need to call for it) was quite a distance from the airport, so I'm not sure why they call it the Charlotte Airport Double Tree.Rooms are nice and clean, and the beds are VERY comfortable, but of course, that is a matter of personal opinion. Didn't have dinner here, but the breakfast was OK. They have a buffet, but I recommend just ordering from the menu. That's a better decision if cost is a consideration to you.

It's a clean place to sleep for a night but not an amazing place at all!!! The landscaping is out of control over grown, not pleasant to look at at all the facilities are basic. Don't expect much and you'll be happy.... Which all makes sense we're having a seminar here because the Doctor lecturing is CHEAP!!!

Great customer service. Clean hotel. Front desk manager was very kind in assisting me. I enjoyed the overall service. The rooms were spacious and offered great comfort. I enjoyed the cookies & water that were offered a sweet touch. ? We had a wonderful time and were not disturbed. The hotel cleaning staff were very respectful and had no issues providing us with towels etc. There was a language barrier, but that didn't matter... overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an amazing night /weekend away from home...

I work for an airline so I stay at tons of hotels - the main reason I am giving this particular one five stars is because of the kindness and courtesy of Michael Hall! I recently called the hotel concerned that I had left a tailored dress behind on a layover. He was able to locate my missing item and he was very communicative and helpful in organizing a plan to get it back to me! I am so grateful! Also I was surprisingly impressed with the restaurant food at this hotel. Typically there aren't many vegetarian options late at night, but the veggie burger and the lovely bartender who served it to me helped make my otherwise long and stressful day much better!

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The only reason this location did not get a 10 is because the elevators are dated, run slow and even broke down. Other than that the rooms are clean and hotel is in a good location with close proximity to the airport.

Not the best service upon reception. Room is minimally cleaned. Still crud hanging around areas like the fridge and windows. This specific room has a weird smell and just doesnt feel fully cleaned Definitely recommend a different place to

I flew into Charlotte and called the hotel, which informed me there is a shuttle to transport from the airport to the hotel. You can get a shuttle IF your name is on their list.I paid $370ish for the room from 3-5 February. It wasn't that amazing it was worth that much. I feel I paid simply for their name rather than quality.The staff was nice. No complementary breakfast. That sucks for the price I paid.

Absolute worst Hilton experience I've had! Waited 40 minutes to check-in. NONE of the front desk clerks I interacted with have any semblance of good customer service. Curt, impatient, or simply ineffective at communication. Did I mention no hot water for two days? There was no direct conciliatory conversation with me to check my room, apologies for the inconvenience, or even an attempt to advise me to check another Hilton located nearby. I advised the night desk clerk, after my first cold shower, that the cheap shampoo and soap dispensers didn't work. He took note but nothing was done. So after working outside in the rain all day for a Habitat project I got another cold shower, with no soap, or shampoo.

Biggest issue I had staying here is their website advertises they have EV charging on site, this is NOT true. They do not have EV chargers. I had to drive about 15 min away to charge up my vehicle. Other then that no real issues staying here. The walls are thin so if you have a loud neighbor you will hear them. Thankfully mine went to bed about the same time as me so it wasn't an issue.

I am mainly writing this review to brag on the night manager, Steven. He welcomed us with a professional and friendly manner and was just so patient and kind. I stay in hotels several times weekly for work and can confidently say that I wish every hotel had a Steven there to greet me upon arrival.As far as the hotel goes, it's mostly clean (bathroom could have used a little more attention), convenient to the airport, has comfortable beds and good amenities.

The hotel is extremely nice. The staff are very nice people. I had my bags in front of a place a cleaner was trying to get to, so I moved them and apologized and he gave me a cup of flavored water and cookie. This people working insude are very nice......Except for the airport shuttle drivers. I have used the park and fly for a while and unfortunately have to cary heavy stuff with me. The older white guy is extremely nice. Very talkative. But the older black guy got angry with me for trying to help get my heavy stuff loaded and unloaded because I was trying to be considerate of his age and making sure my heavy stuff didn't pull his back. That was uncalled for. And the younger black guy he's always complaining that we're making him miss his breaks. And then he drives like a maniac to and from the airport, while talking on the phone and once watching YouTube videos. I try to be considerate to people because they have it tough always running back and forth, but the treatment I've gotten from the shuttle drivers is uncalled for. And while I like the hotel a lot. I won't be utilizing their services anymore because of how rude the drivers always are with me.Additional comments. the shower head IS way too low, like another review said. I'm average hight 5'10" and had to stoop over to wash my hair. The soap bottle was completely empty, like another review said. And on top of that there's mold growing above the shower due to no ventilation. Fixtures are loose on sink and there was music playing all night somewhere that made it hard to fall asleep at times. But beds are extremely comfortable and when I did fall asleep it was a very sound sleep.
