The cashier was ok but the AA female manager on duty (ghetto and rude) had an negative attitude towards and refuse to give a discount that was advertise in the store. This store is always busy one lane open takes forever to get rung up. They had some christmas items laying around but refuse to honor it for $0.10 unacceptable service from the guy manager.

Store closed an hour early. I’ve been on the road all day and my dog needed food but for whatever reason this dollar general store was closed an hour early.

The manager of whoever she is is rude and unprofessional. (Older white lady) No people skills or and poor customer service. She has an attitude as if you're bothering her by shopping there and all she does is complain.

I guess this store has a lot of people steal from them, I was in there today and had a big cart full of stuff and a store associate walked by me and did a circle back to the register and said something to other store associate and they both acted as if I was taking stuff when I had a whole buggy full of stuff, if I’m going to steal why would I have so much in my buggy, I ended up pushing my cart to the front and said I’m not going to be treated like a criminal you all can keep your stuff and walked out, I will never be back to that store again!! That’s terrible to treat somebody like that!!? Also the store was so trashy you couldn’t even get down isle for boxes being everywhere! Wish I could give 0 stars

Place doesn’t close at 10pm unless the employees inside just didn’t want to work any longer. Doors locked.DG change your hours on file if you want more stars. Respectfully

Hours say until 10 door are locked at least a half an hour early. According the other reviews it’s not the first time. Just change the hours instead of being open when you want.

Always problem with the “offers”. At the moment when I going to pay, they never respect the offers that they have in exhibition. For example: in the exhibition say 2 Coca Cola FOR 2.50$, but at the moment to pay it is 2 for 5$ and the discount was 0.90$… what happens with the promo? And the cashier was trying to explain me that the promo is included in my invoice… that’s not true. Fake offer! And when you try to talk with the Manager, he/she never is there. Always is the same with the offers. Please, they have to respect the offers if they really have it.

Cashier was fast.. 90% of the $1 toothbrushes were gone, I only saw 2 left.. It's definitely a theft problem in that store...

Today is 7/27/23I just drove across town to THIS Dollar General because they are listed as being open until 10 p.m and I Just watched her lock the doors at 9:07 p.m THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I have just watched (6) customers try to go in to shop. Something HAS to be done. This happens OFTEN. This is why I stopped shopping here. The DM needs to do something about this!!!

I've been to this store a few times it's usually never stocked and always messy but tonight I actually got upset because I rushed to the store because I know they closed at 10 and I just needed one item (last minute thing) it was 9:50 pm when I arrived. The girl was coming out to take the things from outside in. Which is why I thought I had 10 minutes to get my item which wud have taken 1 of those 10!! So as I'm walking up she says "we're closed" so I stopped and said "oh! What time do you close" she acted like she didn't want to answer so I asked again. She says. "we close at 10 but we closed now ". So I stood there for a second because I didn't like her attitude nor her tone. But I just decided to walk away. Now I understand sometimes things happen and you have to close early that's life. But she could have been more professional and courteous and also maybe said why they closed early not just "we closed now" good thing it wasn't anything important I needed! I'm writing this review because I worked for dollar general before as well as other retail places and I'm hoping this will bring some attention to that stores management and also get better training for the employees!!

On Sunday evening, March 19, 2023, I went into the Dollar General on South Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. I picked out an item that was on "clearance," and it was on the same shelf as the $1.00 items. To ensure that it was in fact a $1.00 item, I walked up to the register to get a price check. There were two Hispanic females working at the register: one of them was always respectful, and the other one was always rude and hateful, so needless to say, I chose to be assisted by the respectful clerk. When the clerk scanned the item, it scanned at more than $1.00, so the clerk asked me if I wanted her to ring it up for $1.00, and before I could answer, the rude clerk said that she could not. As a result, I said something about her rude behavior, and she responded by saying I was not getting any customer service. I stated in response that I was going to report her behavior to Corporate. She responded by mockingly pretending to be crying, and then she stopped abruptly, and threw up her hands to indicate that she did not care if I reported her to Corporate. Then, as I was walking out the door, she walked towards me using the "F" four letter word. After getting as close as she could to me, she said, I am going to "shoot you." Then she indicated that she had her "stuff" with her at Dollar General. Needless to say, I called the local police immediately, as she unquestionably posed a threat to me. Further, it goes without saying that this person needs to be fired from Dollar General IMMEDIATELY! It is also clear and evident that she has very serious mental, anger issues, and she poses a serious threat to the general public and the employees of Dollar General. Further, she is a liability to Dollar General and a threat to the safety of everyone that comes into that location. I expect Dollar General to be more responsible with its hiring practices and to take immediate action!

I went yesterday January 26 2023, the cashier missed an item of mine and I didn’t know until I got home and I have been calling since then and no answer. The close at odd times so I didn’t want to risk going and they are closed. Also the manger was cursing and carrying on when I was there. Extremely unprofessional. As I was leaving the manager sent the young girl that rang me out to go get rid of a beggar I’m front of the store. The manager should have done it herself. I still don’t have my item smh.
