Update 8/22/2024
Opened the rear diff they serviced.
Instead of using a gasket they just used a ton of sealant. Is was everywhere inside. See pic. Sooooo bad
Don't go there.

Need to lower the rating from 5 to 2, why not one Star? Because they Been good in the past.
Went today early in the morning, sharp 8 am, because jason the Manager told me to be there in early morning. However he was 30 min late. You should have seen the face of the coworker when I asked where Jason is. However he told me he does not have time for me now since he needs to eat his breakfast. What?!?! Does he work there or not? Anyway they told me to leave the car there for the whole day. So what's the point to tell people to bring the car in the morning and then leave it there the whole day and Don't even bother to come out with me and let me explain. Hope the breakfast was good. What I also wanted to bring up is that when I was there the last time they did not tell me that the transmission oil pan was completely bend inwards so I had to go somewhere else to install a new one after I figured that out. Plus the cost of the new oil. However this was the last time. Went to Mr transmission. Pretty nice guy helped me right away. Can only recommend!

Have a ford taurus with transmission issue's. Shifts rough. Anyway they flushed the transmission and the car drives pretty good now. Thanks

Best customer service I have experienced in such a long time! Staff was always friendly, helpful, and informative. Although, they were able to find me a used transmission at a much more reasonable cost than the original quote, I opted to get a newer car. They went above and beyond assisting me in getting my stuff out of my old car, letting me leave the title with them (so the car could be towed while I went back to work) and even telling me how to dispose of my old plate when inquired about. Great customer service! Highly recommended!!

Great place. Dropped my Equinox off really thinking that it was having transmission issues. After there diagnostic, they tell me that it really seems to be a different issue. That they could gladly put in a new transmission but the problem I'm experiencing would still be there. Suggested I take it back to the previous place . Never tried to sell me any service that I didn't need. Was very upfront and professional. I will definitely be back if I need transmission repair. Highly recommend

I am a senior citizen that bought a used car that unfortunately needed a transmission. Jason was Extremely Helpful adjusting the cost when he could. I felt like I was not being taken advantage of. The service is great.

Found Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care after an extensive research trying to find a specialized shop that takes care of transmission services. Called them, Jason got me in the next day to take a look. Thankfully my transmission looked great but the engine mounts were going and one was fully broken. Which was pulling down on my engine and transmission making my car not accelerate correctly, wheel shaking, and making a loud noise from braking to accelerating. He was able to take care of it the next day and at a reasonable cost. I am glad to of met Jason and had the services provided by his team.

I needed a full transmission replacement last week, with a quick turnaround before a family road trip. Jason and his team got the job done quickly, keeping me updated on their progress.
I was most impressed with their kindness and thoughtfulness: they saved me money where possible, had me bring the car back in to get checked before our trip, even called a day into the trip to check that everything was going smoothly. Highly recommend.

I'd give Jason and his team 10 stars if I could. So far, I've had a total transmission replacement here and today I went in for an oil change and a repair to my engine!
My husband and I run a dog rescue, I brought Gloria in today to wait for the oil change.
Not only do you get great, quality car service here... You also recieve outstanding customer service! Rare these days!

Today I have the most unpleasant visit to cottman transmission. I arrived at the front desk and 1 of the gentleman ask me how I can help. I told him that I was experiencing some issues with my Chevy express transmission. From the first moment I noticed hi wasn't in a good move. The way he was answering my questions. Hi told me I have to leave the van for a diagnosis I agreed I told him let me calm wife to pick me up. But my wife was working and it will take too long to pick me up. So I when back and asked to the guy. If I can wait for the diagnosis. Because I Don't have a ride. That's when he gets real angry and start throwing the writing boards all over in floor and hi was so furious. Then I say please give me my keys I Don't need to be in this place because I don't came to cottman to get anything for free if I walk in this place is because have the money to pay for the repair. I'm not recommend thus place period.
Never felt this way before I'm run my own business and never ever wi treated any human beings don't care the color of their skin nationality or religion
This is unacceptable.
