“I have been attending classes at the Kadampa Meditation Center for 2 years now and it has made a HUGE positive impact in my life. The teachings provide a logical path that is wise, compassionate, and can easily be applied to everyday life and the challenges that come with it. The Teacher/Monk is amazing! He is clear, precise and plugged into the modern world. I would highly recommend the classes to anyone in search of a peaceful mind.”
“After so much searching, I found the peace I so needed in this place. Where, without being judged, I received help to overcome depression and anxiety. Now I have reason to live, Thanks to Universal that has its doors open every day!”
“I visited the City Center Church after searching for inclusive churches on Google in Charlotte, NC. This church came up on Google as a place that welcomes everyone, which was essential to me since my previous church stopped affirming everyone. I was pleased to find a small yet diverse and friendly community.”
“This is the best church I’ve been to in a very long time! So glad I found a spirit filled, on fire for Jesus, church liven and loven people! Thank you pastoral team for all you do and how well you love us! ♥️???”
“King's is a wonderful church. I and my family are members there. I love being at a place where 20 year-olds and 80 year-olds worship together and love one another as a church family. The music style is a blend of modern worship and historic hymns, and though it is a new church, it is rooted deeply in Christian tradition. There is no attempt to reinvent the wheel! The pastors and leaders know their people and lead well, they preach the Bible faithfully, verse by verse, and they inspire people to be on mission. This is one of the most outreach oriented, evangelistic churches I've ever been a part of.If you're in the North Charlotte / University area, give King's a visit. You won't regret it!”
“Great churches start out small, the word of God is the most important thing. I’ve personally heard of this church doing good work in the community. Keep it up guys!”
“I saw A PANDEMIC REQUIEM performed Queens College choir. It was not only incredible but it was very meaningful. If you don’t know about this performance, I would recommend doing an audio version two understand the dynamic of death. They are honored people they lost during our pandemic. I was blessed because they included my mother that we just lost last week. Thank you.”
“Moved from Charlotte NC in 1995 to Pittsburgh PA due of myhealth issues. Lived in Charlotte 1-75 - 1-95. I miss EASTWAY much as being an active member and helper. Pastor & Sis. Ross were special. Saw Perry Stone twice. Great. Trust me there isn't any church close to beloved EASTWAY Church of God. I tried here for yrs.Perhaps one day I can return.”
“They obviously ruffled some feathers. However don't listen to all the 1star haters.. Jesus got a 1 star rating in his day, and he got crucified for it. Beware of a church that has 5 star rating by the culture.”
“I can't properly put into words how beautiful this place is not just for the eyes but for the soul. The stone work is hand carved and brought in from India. Although it's under renovation, the old temple is still being used and welcomes respectful visitors. Remove your shoes before entering.
This is a quiet environment as prayer is being held, so please put phones on silent and keep voices low. They sell sweets in the temple, and I highly recommend them. They have flyers detailing the upcoming events open to the public. This was a beautiful experience, I would recommend this to anyone, just be respectful.”
