Had a wonderful experience at Charlotte Radiology Morehead Plaza today. The staff, the radiology technologist, and the doctor were all excellent at what they do as well as how they treat their patients. I was very impressed especially as this was a very difficult time for me and was not my standard annual mammogram. Their compassion, care, and ability to deliver the information that I needed to hear was even more important to me now than maybe at other times.

Figuring out how and where to park was, as a first timer, a nightmare. I worry about being late. But this may not be the fault of the practice.
The people who worked there were kind. I did see a woman who was having serious difficulty walking who could have been assisted by someone offering to take her used gown, instead of directing her to the end of the hall to place it in a container, might have been an easy assist. And, maybe an option to make it easier for disabled (yet ambulatory) patients to get from lot, to office, to changing room, to exam room and back is available but I did not see it. The elderly disabled couple really had a time with all the distances, despite canes and walkers. I felt for them.
But the personnel, as far as my personal experience, were excellent. Plus, for a first time, the procedure was not painful. So thank you.

My experience at Charlotte Radiology was a good one. The technician called me a little before my appointment time. The mammogram took around 15 minutes and was made a comfortable impression.
