it’s in soft opening so ill keep it at 5 for now.Has less machines than I would like. I hope they will get more. the locker storage situation is not good. The daily lockers are tiny and there are only like 30 of them. Pretty annoying. you have to pay an extra $45 a month to have somewhere to store a backpack. at-least it comes with laundry which is nice.If you go during the soft opening the water pressure isn’t good and only half the showers in the guys room has warm water. Upstairs and yoga room aren’t open yet. They validate parking at the omni deck for 2 hours max. Putting this review up so these things aren’t a surprise to you as it was to me.Pretty nice gym but not amazing. In terms of “luxury” it’s pretty much an LA fitness, except 3 times the cost. You are paying a premium for the location.I’ll update this review as stuff gets fixed - as their website has zero information.

Amazing clean gym with a pleasant atmosphere. I make sure to visit Charlotte Athletic Club when I’m in town.Vicky at the front desk is a ball of sunshine as well!! Highly recommend checking the gym out!

Superb gym, great location and still has parking accessibility. I live in uptown and this is the best gym by far. Has everything to offer that a gym can offer in regards to the kind of exercise you want to do. Locker room amenities are top tier. Haven’t done any classes or anything myself but I’m sure those are quality as well. Would recommend this gym to anybody.

Switched from the Dowd here. Feels like I went from the nightclub to the country club. Great gym. Mature members, friendly staff, and quality amenities. Never too crowded with always just enough people to feel a sense of community.

Always have a really good experience here. Been coming on and off for about 8 years, when I travel to Charlotte. The staff is always very friendly and there is plenty of modern equipment.

I recently joined CAC looking for a gym that isn’t so crowded all the time. This gym is very well kept and all the equipment is great. I never have to wait for a machine! The front desk is very friendly and I could not recommend enough.

One of the best facilities we've ever worked out at. Steve, the manager is top notch. The facility is clean, never overcrowded, and very nice. A great deal. Highly recommend!

The BEST gym in Charlotte! After relocating and dealing with overcrowded gyms in Southend I decided to take up the search for a new gym! On Friday night I discovered the Charlotte Athletic Club durning a google search. Unfortunately they did not have pricing information online however I was able to submit a request and Steve texted me 1st thing Saturday morning to book a tour the same day.The GYM is just amazing! It's clean, with a ton of equipment and space for a stress feee workout. The locker rooms are upgraded and include both a sauna, and a steam room!I am so glad that I made the pivot to this gym! The energy is amazing, the staff is friendly and there are a ton of classes and free perks included in the membership! 5 stars is not enough! I rank this gym a 10 !

Stayed at the Omni hotel, and this was the facilities on-site. The front desk girl was very helpful with getting me set up. I only used the treadmill, but I'd definitely go back if I'm at the Omni again.

Amazing staff, decent weights and machines, but the sauna (why I joined) needs to be torn down and rebuilt; pieces of wood literally coming off on your body.

I'll preface this by saying the gym, and day to day staff, maintenance team, etc. were all super friendly and great to work with. The gym in itself is great, really enjoyed my time there, plus they validate parking.My biggest issue is I was relocated for work, and gave a 20 day notice of this. In fact, it even says in the contract that if you are relocated more than 8 miles (520 for me), you can be refunded for any "unused services" to which the GM responded, "The agreement is a little confusing – unused services is referencing things such as personal training, massage, locker etc." Despite my attempts I was still charged, and it appears they like to twist the words of the contract to when it is convenient for them. The GM acknowledged the contract is poorly worded, and still didn't do the right thing. I physically couldn't be there to use the services, and was still charged. Can't recommend doing business with a company that exhibits this type of customer service.

Good luck cancelling your membership. I cancelled mine in October, and just got a bill from them for $400.Quite the cancellation fee.
