This practice is wonderful. I always have a good experience from the initial scheduling phone call to check-in to the techs and doctors. We have two goldendoodles and have been going here for three years and feel very much taken care of.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! I don't usually post complaints like this about a business, I just won't go back to the business, when I am not happy with the service provided. But as an animal lover I feel it is my duty to report this to people who are thinking of taking their pets too this place. This location was good until the new people took it over. The new people were more concerned with bilking us out of money, than treating our pet. We took our cat in for surgery, which cost close to $1900. The price was no problem, if they at least took the time to care for the pet and do what ever possible to help the pet for the money we paid, but they did not. They did not provide us with verbal instruction or antibiotics for the pet after the surgery and the surgeon did not even come out to speak with us. The receptionist just gave us paperwork and took the payment. THEY DID NOT PROVIDE OR PRESCRIBE OUR PET WITH ANTIBIOTICS AFTER THE SURGERY, which we did not know, was a necessity. I understand surgery is a gamble, but when the Doctor is clearly negligent and then wants to charge you to fix their screw up, that's a problem. As stated before, the surgeon did not come out to talk to us and provide us with any type of instruction on what to do, they did not provide us with a follow-up visit and did not prescribe antibiotics to our animal, which again, we did not know was needed after surgery. A week after the surgery our cat became much sicker and was losing ounces of weight each day. Also, her body was radiating a significant amount of heat. She was clearly infected when we brought her back to them a week and a half after surgery, instead of taking her in because she was infected after recently having surgery, they wanted to run more test and charge hundreds of more dollars. When we told them we paid enough this was clearly an infection, involved with the surgery they told us the cat was fine, she'll recover and this was normal after a major surgery like this. This advice came from the office staff and not the surgeon. The surgeon could not find the time to get back to us. Again, the cat felt hot to the touch, couldn't stand, and was extremely bloated around her belly, she clearly had an infection. Two days after this visit, her symptoms worsened and we took her to a specialist. The new Doctor extracted a cup and a 1/2 of puss from a now 6 pound adult, cat and provided her with ANTIBIOTICS. When asked if her surgery had anything to do with the infection, the specialist asked was she given antibiotics and the answer was "No". When told, we brought her in two days prior to the previous Doctor, who said the cat was fine, the specialist said she was severely infected and had been infected for much more the two days. After a round of antibiotics the cat is doing fine now. The specialist referred us to a new vet for a follow up, who also said the cat should have been prescribed antibiotics after the surgery. We will not be bringing our animals to Central Providence Veterinary Hospital anymore. I am not somebody who has a ridiculous complaint because they were unhappy with a meal at a restaurant and I am not upset about the the money spent, I am someone who would pay any amount to have our pet spend another day with our family. Our family are people who love their pets very much and almost lost their pet, who is a family member due to the negligence of Central Providence Veterinary Hospital. If you love your pets don't risk it. TAKE YOU PETS SOMEWHERE ELSE, it is not worth the risk. With all the competition out there I'm sure you can find a place that cares about your animals, while making a profit. WE DID. I understand this is a business and needs to make money, but you have to provide the proper service for the money people are paying. With the new vet we are using, our cat is doing fine. She gained weight, plays and has a hardy appetite. NO THANKS TO Central Providence Veterinary Hospital. It was worth the $900 extra we paid the new specialist and Vet to save our cat, w

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They’re family and treat us like it. Everyone from Nicole and Brianne to Dr Bamonte. Have been coming here for years and had some concerns (like everyone else) when they transferred ownership but it’s been wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

By far the best vet in the area!! We have two dogs and the vet can be expensive. We tried them for the first time a couple months ago and we are so happy! They are very good about providing all pricing options and working with us! Everyone is so nice and the customer service is top notch! Definitely recommend.

Ruger had an amazing first Vet visit at CPVH! As a first time dog owner I didn’t know what to expect, but the whole team was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, they exceeded my expectations!! From the receptionists helping with itemized quotes, to vet tech, Bailey, & Dr. Bamonte, taking their time to thoroughly explain and answer my questions and examine Ruger, we felt comfortable and not rushed!! Ruger had a perfect checkup and didn’t even flinch for his vaccines while they distracted him with some cheese whiz, excellent appt.!! We even got his test results back next day via text!! Highly recommend CPVH to everyone!!

Love this practice! I have used this practice for 21 years and loved Dr Booker and hoped the new staff would give the same quality care. I am happy to say we love the new doctors, they are kind and thorough and patient with our boys! The office staff is very helpful and quick to answer questions and return calls. The vet techs go above and beyond to welcome scared or timid patients and give lots of praise and peanut butter to ensure a positive experience. Truly appreciate the care we receive!

I recently went to Central Providence Animal Hospital for the first time, and was extremely impressed. The receptionist and technician were so very friendly and attentive to myself and my dog. Dr.Taboni was gracious, welcoming and gentle with my dog, and as well, competent and knowledgeable. She explained everything very carefully and gave me multiple choices for the diagnostics needed.
I would recommend this hospital without reservation to anyone who loves their pet.

I love this practice! They take such good care of my fur baby. Recently she went foraging and ate something that made her ill. Dr. Tabony saw her the same day I called and got her back on track. Her staff is friendly and concerned. I couldn’t recommend them more.
