Very nice range and shop. The staff in the store and back in the range was great — friendly, helpful, and professional. We brought my FIL here to shoot for Father’s Day and had a great time. My husband also had to transfer a firearm to our home state and Matt was super helpful and on top of everything. Plus, the whole place was spotless and organized, including the restrooms! We plan to visit again next time we’re in Charlotte.

My fiancé and I just moved here from NY. We went to Carolina Sporting Arms to learn more about the firearms laws in NC and were immediately greeted by James. He is amazing! He took his time and really educated us, easing my apprehension about become a pistol owner. He talked us through the types of firearms and the best ones for us to try. We went to the range to try them out and he was of course correct! We both filed the paperwork and made the purchase. We cannot say enough about James! He is exceptional at what he does- we highly recommend going to him for all firearms needs- even if it’s just to learn more!

We had a wonderful experience with Jay, who took the time to very patiently teach us some key differences between various guns and help us narrow down our search to best fit our needs. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, and we truly felt like we were being guided to make the choice that was right for us. We will absolutely be back!

Today was my first time shooting a gun and I'm so thankful I chose CSA. I went into full anxiety once the bullets were out in my hand. And JAY was Was AMAZING ?!
He was so kind and patient. Sat with me and did breathing exercises and was an awesome cheerleader once I finished shooting.
The instructor Mike was the ? bomb. He is SUPER thorough and I was shooting like a pro from his tips. I learned so much and the energy there is great. I became a Member and look forward to getting more knowledge and more guns. I FEEL SO EMPOWERED.?

Carbine 101 was an excellent class! I signed up because I was interested in learning to properly handle and shoot AR-15 platform rifles and by the end of the class I was very comfortable with the gun. Looking forward to getting back to the range and practicing what Jordan taught me. The knowledge and approachability of the instructors at CSA is top level. Hands-down the best of the best.

On May 15, 2024 I picked up my first online purchase from Carolina Sporting Arms. I ordered a firearm on the 10th (Friday) and they had it ready to pick up on the 15th. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lee Miller checked me out and gave me a bunch of information on all the great things Carolina Sporting Arms has to offer. He answered any and all questions I had. I will definitely be back!
The whole process was fairly quick and easy. Unlike big box stores they had a nice seating area I could wait in as my background check was going through. I also got free range time just for purchasing a firearm through them! 10 out of 10 all around. Thank you guys!

Came here on the 3rd of May to buy my first gun for work. Very clean on the inside not crowded and comfortable atmosphere. I approach a young man who was helping another customer. I waited and he greeted me with smiles and eagerness to help. His name is Jay but don't know his full name. I came here to get the Smith and Wesson Sd9 I saw on the website. He informed me that if it doesn't say in store the product will have to be shipped to the store then I can pick it up. I needed a firearm this weekend before Monday for I have to renew my armed guard certification this week. Jay suggested another weapon close the price of Sd9 which was a used Smith and Wesson M&P. I was delighted and immediately assured my interest. He helped me with paperwork and a couple of magazines. I highly recommend coming here to buy a firearm. I will make further purchases here in the future. And when you go ask for Jay.

2nd time here, truly are some of the nicest most helpful people. Jay walked me through the entire process for my Sig and guided me. I truly feel like for anyone who is somewhat inexperienced can really rely on this store to make you feel comfortable. Will be back!
