absolutely horrific customer service. My pick up time for my truck was 1pm and this was on the door. Several other customers stranded waiting for service. Do not rent from this lazy company.

The worst. Had a reservation m and they didn't have a car. They were rude about it and refused to help me. My whole trip was ruined & had to pay for two hotels. 1) the one I couldn't get to and to the one in Charlotte where I was stranded because I had no car.

Terrible experience.. The worker Mel was nice but he definitely needs an assistant. How is it just one person checking people in and out?? Who's inspecting the vehicles as they are being returned?? NO ONE !!! Which is why I received a rental that was filthy inside and out... On top of that the low tire indicator was on ... I brought to his attention and he claimed that the car had just came from being serviced yesterday. ( Yesterday which was a Sunday so I knew he was lying).. There were absolutely no other cars available which is becoming a pattern whenever I book with budget.When I returned the vehicle 3 days later, I literally had to wait an hour just to return the keys because once again it was only one person working.. By time I got to the counter he asked me the mileage on the car, printed the receipt, and that was it... So now I understand why the cars be in such terrible condition... NO IS ONE IS INSPECTING...

I would like to rate below 1 star! I had a prepaid reservation that they refused to honor. They stated the decision to actual rent a car is at the local level so having a reservation and pre paying does not mean you actual have a car when the local location can refuse you a car!!!

Are you kidding me??? I had to give 1 star because I couldn’t do anything less. The woman “supervisor” was incredibly rude. I had a reservation for a car. I came in and was told there were no cars available. I’m from Chicago...going to my daughters college graduation ...she told me there was nothing she could do.Yet a man came in right after me and got a cargo van.!cargo van. She smack mouthed me.NO NO NO!!! Incredibly unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The website allowed me to pay with apple pay and when I arrived I was told it should not have allowed me to pay with Apple Pay and that my reservation would have to be cancelled. I should get my money back from you guys allowing your website to let me use Apple Pay if that’s not what you wanted!! Ridiculous!

If I could give this location and Budget Rent-A-Car a lower review than one star I would. I rented a car from Budget to be picked up the following day to drive from Charlotte to Clearwater, Florida. After making the reservation, which was confirmed, I received a call that the location for the pick up had been moved since they did not have a car available. The new location was a bit further away but they assured me that the car would be available there. Before leaving the next morning to pick up the rental car I called the location and did not receive an answer. I then went online and confirmed that a car would be available at that location that morning. After taking Uber to this branch office and walking in with my baggage I was informed by the agent that they had no cars. Furthermore, apparently there were no cars in the entire Charlotte metro area including the airport. I ask when a car would be available was again told there were no cars. I asked why nobody answered the phone and was told that too many people were coming in looking for cars and they were busy. The agent was far less than sympathetic and I told her that I was now stuck in the Charlotte area for another night, had just been dropped off by Uber and would likely miss an important meeting. No apology was offered nor any effort made to correct the situation. I had to make an airline reservation on the fly which cost me considerably more than the rental car would have been. It is my feeling that they just did not want to have a one-way rental but the car would've been taken to a high-volume market during peak season and spring break. This makes no sense at all and I have heard nothing from Budget since. I will never rent from them again.

I rented from this location on March 5th and got a Malibu. The car seems to be good from ouside but there was strong cigarette smoke inside. When I asked the agent about it, she said she doesn't have any other cars to rent and told me to buy an air freshner from dollar strore or change the car at aiport. I was in a hurry and couldn't find time to drive all the way to aiport, wait in the line there and get the car switched. All the rental cars were supposed to be non smoking.I hope they could've hadled this situation better.

Car is dirty. Wasn't clean. If outside is dirty., how are they performing enhance cleaning. Gross and unsafe!! DIDNT HAPPEN. Paid for Ford Fiesta, for more room. Received very small HONDA KONA. It feels claustrophobic. Rent SUV for 1 weeK. Will make contact with GM. DISCOUNT AND APOLOGIE IS NEEDED. I struggled to give a 1 star.

I went there on Saturday to pick up a car. and then there were eight people there to pick up trucks and they didn't have one truck. the girl behind the counter her name was Aidee she handled all the problems like a real pro multitasking like a real Tasmanian devil period if every customer service were as good as her there wouldn't be as many problems thanks aidee

I did a reservation online to pick up a truck on Sep 29th. Arrived at this location right on time but surprisingly my truck was not available. The lady on the front desk was also no willing to help me at all and said the she couldn’t do anything.I left the place without truck and rented a few miles down the street at U-Hall.And the most incredible of all is that Budget charged on my credit card No-Show!What a joke!
