They suppose to be opened at 8am. And it’s 8:12am as of right now. With no movement in the store what so ever‼️ I’m on a time schedule and this is throwing way off.Update she finally came and was very rude. She said they didn’t have cars as soon as she came to the door. I was waiting at least 30 mins then she would not answer me when I asked was she going to call me when they do get a car. Very very rude. I also have my children waiting

I would like to add onto the low reviews of this location. This is coming from a repeat customer. I have attempted to rent from here several times. Every time they are out of cars I would say to be exact it’s happened to me on four occasions, the latest occasion was today and I rent cars often to travel. This is within the 2 to 3 month time span. And I’ve also witnessed other customers who come in and deal with the same issues of them having no cards available they do not give you a phone call or an email you will show up there and they will have no cars available. They also take 15 to 20 minutes to wait on you and there seems to always be only one person they’re helping. I will not come here again and I would advise anyone who needs a rental car. DO NOT!! come to this location you will not have a car ready!!!

If I can give no stars I would. I set a reservation ahead of time and once I took a Uber all the way there. The lady said they have no cars. Then her and her stiff wig was rude even making me wait outside for my Uber to come back and get me. I would not recommend this location. The organization and professionalism is beyond poor. Can’t get over how rude the lady working there is. They need to hire people who have customer service skills. She constantly cut me off while I was asking questions. Just plain rude. Zero stars if possible.

Fast service for my turn-in, and after a long drive in a rental truck they offered me a complementary beverage. The staff was cheerful, polite, and accommodating. I would book here again!

This rental company is the closest location to my house so I keep patronizing this location but I am no longer interested and rather travel farther for better service. This place is the most unprofessional car rental the first time I reserved a car for 8:00 am and the one attendant did not show up until almost 9:00 am only to find out she had no cars for the size I reserved. She does not want anyone to come to the counter so just put a sign that says “don’t come to the counter, we’ll come to you”. She comes late then you have to wait an additional 10 minutes for the computer to boot… really?!? Now I am outside the shop it is 8:25 am the shop should be open at 8:00 and there are plenty of cars waiting….Never again! Don’t do it folks go to University location!

My checkout was 6 PM on a Monday. At arrival (on the dot), there was not an agent, so I set to return at opening the following day. I arrived right when they opened.. There was no employee at the store, and the lights were off, the alarm was on, and the door was locked. I waited for an employee to arrive until 8:30 AM. By this time, two other people were also waiting outside of the location. I called the customer service line for assistance. Customer service was super helpful and walked me through checkout and they told me I could leave around 8:45 AM, to which there was still nobody there. Budget as a company was helpful, but this location has consistently given me issues like this. Based on the other reviews too, the employees at this location come and go whenever they want.

The worst experience I’ve had with a car rental service, and you know that car rental experiences aren’t great to begin with. First off, I wasn’t even let into the storefront. The staff simply stared at me through the windows for a minute while talking to one another (maybe deciding if they should open the door?) One of them came to open the door, not to let me in, but just to poke his head out asking if I had a reservation. After providing the reservation information, he shuts the door and he goes back to the desk to discuss with the other staff before coming back to the door a few minutes later to say that they no longer have a car to be rented. Despite having a confirmed reservation and calling to confirm inventory, I wasn’t let into the establishment nor did I walk away with a rental car. Super rude and distasteful. Would only recommend if you’re actively seeking to have your day turned sour.

Reserved a vehicle several days ahead of trip to Charlotte. 2 hours before pick up time they called to say they would not honor reservation leaving us stranded

Reserved a truck to pick up at 4 pm today. I showed up on time and the office was closed. The sign seemed to indicate that someone left earlier in the day and would be back at 2 pm. Clearly that was not the case. Called customer service and was forwarded to no where. Unprofessional and I will be disputing any charges on my card! Don’t waste your time renting from this company,

The wait is unreal and only one desk person at 10:00 pm a Friday.The building is dirty stains all over the floor 10 people waiting.Budget needs to do better than this very unprofessional business..If you can’t do better than this you should close.

I reserved a rental at this particular location with my debit card on Monday for the following day at 11:00 PM. When I called the next morning to confirm my rental before taking a Lyft to get there (I didnt want to leave my own car) I was told that they no longer had the 16 foot truck. It had been rented out to a walk in one-way- rental. They considered the walk-in a confirmed rental. The customer service agent stated she may be able to find the 16 foot rental at another location or she could offer me a 12 foot rental at her current location. I asked if it was their policy to give away a rental, even if you have secured it with a card. She assured me saying, "Oh yes ma'am, we certainly can if someone walks in and they are a confirmed rental." I then asked her what she meant by she may be able to find me a rental. Her reply was I have customers in front of me that take precedent. I then told her fine I would come right in and be a face in the place customer. I arrived 15 minutes later to look at the 12 foot rental of the truck. I decided to take the 12 foot rental, only to be told that the check engine light was on and they could not rent that one. They told me they would have to call me back when another truck came in. By this time it was one hour before closing . I never received a phone call to say nothing came in, we're sorry. I wasn't surprised at all. I was very surprised thar two days went by and my bank showed a charge of $75 for a no-show. Unbelievable! If my reservation wasn't a secured reservation why the heck was I charged? Better yet, why didn't they hold my truck? This location is beyond unprofessional and their practices are atypical. In addition to not having my truck, I was told that in order to rent the truck they would have to personally speak with my insurance company to verify my coverage and speak to my credit card company to verify that my credit limit would cover a commercial rental. I have never been asked to provide both my insurance company via phone rep and my credit card via phone rep in order to rent anything. I was closing on my house and had to move, so all of this was very stressful and time consuming. Fortunately, I was able to go to a U-Haul right up the street and rent a truck. It took all of 10 minutes with the option to waive or accept their insurance. I did not have to provide anything but my credit card and my drivers license , I will never ever rent from this tacky, unprofessional Budget location. They need a full overhaul in training. Additionally, the whole time I was in this office along with another family who had kids younger than mine, we had to listen to a rap song that kept repeating, "you wonder why they call UBITCH, that's why they call UBITCH." I am not sure why anyone thinks that's OK. I reached out to customer service but I have yet to hear back from management. Hopefully this review warrants a phone call from leadership. Ill post everywhere they have visibility to customers.

Katie and Fivell are great but the company they work for is horrible. It's not the fault of the location, it is the policies of the parent company.Do not do business here. Somehow, someway, you WILL regret it.
