Boston MA - Airport Location: The check in process was horrific. The agent marked my gas option wrong and instead of starting over he forced me to continue signing on the screen and said he will take care of it at the end. He failed to explain multiple screens to me when I asked for clarification. Once we finally finished he proceeded to steer my family and I in the wrong direction purposely so we had to walk further with our luggage. I had to ask for help on where to go, and it turned out that his desk was much closer to the car pickup location than where he directed. He sent me upstairs and to the opposite side. Agent's name was Marc Estime.

I made a reservation almost two months before.But they didn't give me a car when I went there.They said no car available.They did nothing! Bad service!

Both times I've rented here, they have charged me an upcharge because they don't have the car I requsted. Both times I have requested a compact SUV and they gave me a standard SUV and then charged me an additional 10$ per day. I shouldn't be paying extra because they don't have the car I originally paid for. Also this past time they charged me a gas fee even though I brought the car back with the same amount of gas it had in it when I received it (half full).

There should be an option for no stars because I got no car. I booked a car a week in advance, did online check in the day before, and was greeted with a voicemail when my flight landed the morning of my reservation that no cars were available. I was told to call the main reservation desk, who informed me there were no cars in the entire state of North Carolina. I had to get an Uber to my destination that was 90 minutes away. Interestingly, a round trip Uber was cheaper (including a hefty driver tip) than my reservation, so I ended up saving money. I look forward to never renting from Budget again and moving to ride share services that actually provide a service.

Booked online for a rental car. When I arrived I was told they didn't have any cars. They refused my refund and told me good luck finding something to drive. A profound lack of customer service and complete lack of caring for the position they put me in. I wouldn't rent from this location or Budget rental...ever again. Hard to believe people this cruel and uncaring are in the customer service business.

Five Stars, Veronica was very forthcoming and kind. Probably the best rental car experience I've had in a while. I highly recommend this Budget / Avis location. Big shoutout @ Veronica for her great service.

The people are fine but the quality of vehicles, cleanliness and upkeep is below satisfactory! Our reservation was for a SUV and all they had was a minivan! Not only the wrong vehicle but filthy inside and out! Previous renters trash was throughout the vehicle! The vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke and mold! The rear carpet was saturated and caused our luggage to be wet upon our first destination!

Apparently consistently let's you book a car and never had any cars this company should be illegal spent 50 on Uber to get here just to find out no cars

Reserved a car and arrived on time to pick it up. Waited over an hour to receive the SUV only to try to start it and the key battery need changing. Took another 30 minutes to get another car as of course they did not have batteries or the other set of keys. Need to enter Fort Jackson and when they looked at the car documents the rental agreement was for a different auto and the one I have had EXPIRED Registration. SO they charged me for an illegal auto as it should not have been on the road. So that took another hour and a supervisor to let me on the base. Same thing happened a few days later at Norfolk. The rear cargo door seal keep coming off and would show door open again a waste of time. Budget need to actually get management or close. If I turned a car in late they would charge me but they can do what they want. I would only recommend Budget if you do not like yourself.

Veronica and David are an amazing team. No other budget location makes you feel more appreciated. Greeted with a smile and pleasant conversation. Feels like more than just another "transaction". I will never rent anywhere else

This location Make budget & Avis look really bad. Bad for business. Horrible horrible customer service. “John” seems like he care one bit about inconveniencing his customers. Very argumentative & rude.

I had a terrific experience with this location — I was a bit terrified after I made my reservation in August + waited until a week before my holiday trip to check reviews only to read horrible experiences dating back several years.Turns out the franchise was recently bought by a lovely couple, Veronica + David. Everything was perfect, the suv I reserved was in great shape (pretty sure it was an upgrade actually), the rate was way better than 2 tickets to Florida and our travels weren’t ruined by cancellations. I will definitely be back for my next trip!
