Beware…I strongly warn you to do not trust this company to take care of your very important tax needs as I feel like I was robbed, lied to, cheated, and neglected during my six-month experience. I thought when I spoke to the owner that things would be better, but I was mistaken as the professional abuse continued. There would be too much to type, but understand that if I could go back through my experience with this company again, I wouldn’t do it even if they paid me. It was a horrible and awful first time CPA experience.

I have been a personal and corporate client of BGW for about 10 years. Two years ago my company became an ESOP. We assumed we would need to change accountants, but BGW was willing to step up and do our ESOP accounting, even though they only had a few ESOP clients and there was a lot of differences and things they probably had to learn. I value their advice and guidance in making all major financial decisions.

We had an accounting firm that just did the typical accounting work, entering data and preparing our taxes. Several years ago we moved to BGW, and within the 1st couple of months they found us over $70k in savings! They truly have my interests in mind!

Beware: My personal true experience. I was a loyal client of BGW and their former company for over 38 years. Their fees to prepare my 2020 personal and corporate state and federal tax returned increased by 120%, with no advance notice nor explanation. When I questioned Ray Burrows about the increase and the fact their time to prepare the returns was actually less than prior years, his explanation was that they had increased their fees. So for the 2021 tax season I changed to a different CPA. My new CPA has questions about some of the details in the way BGW filed my returns for the past several years. Now I can not even get a return call or email with an explanation. In my opinion, BGW used to be a good company before it was sold to the new owners.
