Best Friends was an excellent place to work! I experienced first hand how well the pets were treated as a doggy day care specialist. I highly recommend this place for pet boarding.

The staff at Best Friends Pet Hotel (10301 Feldfarm Lane, Charlotte, NC) are my dog Pascal’s best friends. They see that he is well taken care of and makes sure he gets to join group play which he loves. Pascal loves to play with other dogs in the group he is assigned to. I have never had this to happen before: When I picked him up on Mon., Dec. 26, he did not go straight to the Rogue like he usually does. He walked past it and down the sidewalk, then turned around and headed back through the front door of Best Friends. He didn’t want to leave which clearly made a statement all by itself. Pascal has a good home life; he has a fenced-in yard and a doggie door so he can go in and out as he pleases. It touched my heart that he wanted to go back in the front door of Best Friends. From the online registration process to checking in and pick up, Best Friends made everything so easy. Clean, welcoming, friendly! A great place for our two black lab litter sisters!!!! So many great options available in taking care of our pups. Highly, highly recommend!!!

i was planning on taking my 3 dogs there to be boarded because i was going out of state for 2 weeks and needed a good place to take care of my beloved pets, BUT, after reading the god awful reviews and messages referencing this place..there is no way i would trust these people to ever take charge of my pets..if one or two customers are complaining then you have to give them the benefit of the doubt, But when you are reading dozens of reviews stating that the staff are negligent rude and careless not to mention just plain unprofessional that gives me grave concerns and doubts that i would ever take my beloved pets to this place, in fear that when i return they weren't cared for properly and profesionally or according to nearly post there was fecal matter and clorox smell on the animals..this is dangerous and uncalled for,,what kind of people does this company staff and how do they treat your animals after you leave their sight not to mention you cant stream what is going on with your dogs as they advertise that you can. its like they are hiding things and that is very concerning..i was planning on keeping my dogs there for 2 weeks while i was out of the country but after reading the horrible reviews no way in hell will i ever consider allowing them to interact with my little animals.,.. the customers who have had negative experiences there needs to notify the newspaper about what they are or arent doing when they leave their dogs there.. and if your dog gets in a fight they want to charge you with the other dogs vet bill..Thats outright Theft.. it is the responsibility of that facility to make sure that DOES NOT happen.. and to get a bill from a collection agency of said correspondence Uhhhh i think i would be taking them to court for allowing this to happen in the 1st place..i'm so glad i got to see the correspondence from people who had negative interactions especially with rude employees.. And lastly stated, i will "NOT" be taking my dogs there and will pass this along to my family and friends to read the reviews before considering BEST FRIENDS PET HOTEL....

Our dog came home with wounds and lesions on her. We called and we're basically called liars and told nothing happened and tried to say it's from licking. STAY AWAY!!!!

We boarded our beagle twice and we will not be returning. Our dog had some diarrhea after the first visit but he has separation anxiety so I thought that might have given him a sick stomach. I brought vaccinations papers the first time and they did not take the information. On the second visit the counter girl requested the vaccination information and told me that they left me a voicemail requesting it but I had no voicemail message from Best Friends Pet Hotel. So I went home and returned with the vaccination records. Different people were at the counter, they took my beagle, his food and collected 50% payment. They tried to collect more but I had to correct them that my dog was only staying one night. I called to confirm that my dogs nails were trimmed and that I was heading over to pick him up. I arrived at 12:15 to pick him up. The rude counter girl was there and tried to charge me double because pick up time should have been by noon. I didn't know that and wasn't told that when I called. The counter girl told me that I should have known that. And still charged me more $ for some wellness crap that I didn't ask for nor know what it was for. I'm so disappointed and hope that they treated my dog better than they treated me!!!

This might be one of the worst run facilities I’ve ever experienced. Some of the individuals that work here are honestly wonderful and I greatly appreciate the care they provide but the organization and general management is terrible. The latest issue was related to a grooming appointment that we called to confirm two weeks prior to the date, only to learn when we arrived on the appointment day that they had cancelled our appointment at least a week prior and never called us to inform or reschedule. The person at the front desk was extremely rude and said the best she could do was get us another appointment a month later. I wouldn’t leave a review like this if this was the first issue but we’ve run into similar problems to this one multiple times. It’s unfortunate because this place has real potential but their lack of attention to detail is behind the curve given the competition in the pet care space in Charlotte.
