Anytime I had an issue, I would refer to this location and specifically to Megan Price. She is always very professional, super helpful and she always makes sure you are heard

Virtual Banking. Suddenly my phone number was not good enough. I changed my number and received one text from the bank. That was it I was blocked again. Tech support says it will be a month. I am on a list. Don't join an environmental group just in case, coincidentally, that is when this started.

I opened an account on October 19th informing me that m y credit card was on the way I then received a confirmation email on the November 4th informing me that my balance transfer request was approved and that the transfer would take place between 2-4 business days. I received an additional email to inform me that my balance transfer was processed on November 7th falsely informing me that my balance transfer would be completed in 2-4 business days I have since made numerous phone calls to a variety of phone numbers that have been proven to be incorrect numbers. These numbers were called on November 14th Over the course of this time period I have made 4 separate phone calls as evidenced by receiving 4 different verification codes via text message (one for each phone call. I spoke with Cianna first who asked for the following in order to get into my account: -social security number -date that my account was opened -cell phone number -corporate association (via multiple choice) -property address (via multiple choice) -sibling property address (via multiple choice) -vehicle color (via multiple choice) -I was then asked to hang up and call them back in order to verify the account I then spoke with Christine who instructed me to provide: -phone number -authorization code -instructed to contact my original debt holder to make sure they could accept an electronic transfer -claimed that my original debt holder does not accept electronic transfers from other banks. This was proven to be false as my original debt holder provided me with a routing number and an account number for Bank of America to send the funds to. I then spoke with Ivan who stated that the balance transfer request was sent on the 4th of November and that it would be 2-4 business days for the transfer to be completed He then claimed that USAA had processed the transfer. This was easily proven to be false upon looking at my USAA account balance and observed that the debt was still present on the account. I was then told by another Bank of America employee to wait 48 hours while the new balance transfer took place because he put a stop payment to the one I already had out. It's been over a month at that point and I just want my transfer to go through...like every other bank in the country is able to do...but somehow a bank that's one of the largest in the United States is unable to do. On November 22nd I spoke with Matthew who then placed me on hold before transferring me to a balance transfer specialist I then spoke with Shamara who stated: -that the balance transfer had been completed (incorrect according to USAA account balance that was checked after she made this statement -she then inexplicably attempted to process my balance transfer as a cash advance I then spoke with Greyson who stated: -that she changed the cash advance into a balance transfer -told me that it would take another 2-4 business days for the transfer to go through Between all of these phone calls I was placed on hold for over 2 hours over the course of the 6 phone calls that were made. I feel like I am being deceived as the service that they advertised and approved me to receive a balance transfer of $4,260 so far I have submitted complaints to the following entities: Better business Bureau Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation North Carolina Attorney General Illinois Attorney General I also posted to their facebook page. Any other entities I can get this in front of that I haven't thought of would be greatly appreciated

I recently received a check from "my own 401k that I borrowed from." I was on the phone for an hour and a half because they put a hold on my check for 6 days! I spoke to a nice woman who told me she couldn't release my check. I waited for about 45 minutes for a manager to then be told that she couldn't release my check either!!!! Not only did you waste my time, but give me my fuckin money!!!! I'm gonna go back to citizens bank or a small credit group that won't fuck with my money!!!! Fuck you Bank of America!!!! I'm gonna do everything in my power to turn people away from you!!!

Description of Complaint: I suffered a severe brain injury resulting in earning significantly less wages and difficulty with tasks including reading and budgeting. I locked my debit card and BOA allowed charges to go through. I've tried closing my account 3x. They make it purposely difficult and take advantage of customers with disabilities. I was told by a rep that my account can be closed so no other charges go through. A manager said that is wrong and I need to dispute the charges with the merchants, meanwhile, other charges can incur because "it's the policy". I'm being held hostage by this bank and it's fees

B of A Visa is horrible to deal with over the phone. I had a 40 minute call this morning and I still don't know if the fraud phone claim is resolved. In addition, they had an extremely aggressive sales pitch for First Alert, before you could talk to the rep. I had to hang up and call back and start the process over.

Today I received my March Bank of America Visa credit card statement I have just switched from American Express to Visa. The bank statement indicated that I had paid $300 extra above what the balance due was, but there was still a $35 interest charge well I guess when you're paid in full you have to pay interest for three months so I was $90 short in my February statement they cost me $17 interest so now I have $17 plus $35 and my guess is there's gonna be another $35 short so it's almost going to be $90 that it's going to cost me because I was short $90. I think this is so unfair to have to pay 100% interest

Good luck ever being serviced here. Like most Bank of America branches these days- there are like ten people lingering around, but saying hi to you…but none of them help you. I waited for 30 minutes in the drive thru line, then couldn’t wait any longer and went inside- only to wait 15 more minutes and neither line ever moved. I had to leave so I could go run my business- because who has an hour to wait for CHANGE?? Horrible customer service.

Bank of America is not a good bank, and I would warn anybody considering using this bank. I was in need of a national bank, as my two I currently have are more regional to northeast and/or a small community bank. When opening the account, I made a deposit and even though it cleared my bank, it still took two weeks for the funds to be available at BofA. This didn't make me happy, but I was only moving money in, and didn't need to withdraw any money. I have been slowly transferring funds (Deposits) into BofA from the community bank and they have a limit on how much I can transfer per month. With $10K in the BofA account, they charged me $25 for maintenance fees. All I have done was deposit money! Maintenance fees for what? I'm waiting on two more transactions (deposits) to clear at BofA. Once cleared, I will be withdrawing the money and closing the account. Didn't they just say on the news something about lowering fees?

This bank is impossible to deal with. Anything involving customer service (which means just about anything beyond using their ATM) will be dealt with in a way that is unprofessional, time consuming, and perhaps just plain wrong. I'm going to move after being with them many years.

BAC has been a real pain in the ass to deal with from when I first got my home loan to trying to pay off the loan after my home was destroyed by fire. They were incompetent from start to finish. We all have to deal with this virus but it is no excuse for hours on hold and no call backs and delays in paying off a loan with insurance money. I have an account with Wells Fargo and they are very responsive and available. I love WFC and hate BAC. Neal Hribar
