Unsure how to review when there are so many bad reviews after purchase. The store is laid out well with decent prices and what appears to be ok quality.
We did not buy anything but were definitely considering light fixtures…

Horrible.I went to the store to update my delivery address because I moved to another house since I placed the order beginning of March and it's almost July and they still postpone part of the order. Their associate told me to write down my new address and she'll call to update. After 5 minutes she came to me saying she can't find anyone and she'll try later and call me back.

We shop at Ballard often and my wife loves the style. Recently we ran into a customer service issue and Jefferson, the manager at the Charlotte NC store, was very helpful and solved our issue. Thank you Jefferson for your outstanding customer service and professionalism!! Makes us feel good about future purchases.

Ballard products are beautiful BUT there are a lot of quality issues. Their customer service does not care. When things arrived damaged (which is about 75% of the time), there are so many hoops to jump through it’s nearly impossible to resolve without just sending the entire item back. I’m done buying things from this store that need to be shipped.I’ve had a $500 piece of art arrive with splotches of glue right on the front and a dent in the frame. (Would not offer any resolution other than return and wait 5 more months for replacement). I also ordered a desk - once it arrived with a damaged desktop so bad that it had to go back. Months later the replacement finally came and the drawer is put together horribly wrong with 1” visible space and nails hanging out. In order to have it fixed, I need to submit a paperwork for pre-approval on the repair. Who has time for that?? Nonsense!

Have relied on Ballard Designs as my go to site and place to shop for a decade. Their goods and services are quality all the way . I certainly wouldn't compare them to Wayfair or other retailers that sell their products online all from China. I've had to send several purchases from wayfair back to them for quality defects. If you want quality Ballard is what you want. This is furniture that will last.

Very frustrated with the store at present. I purchased a lamp (ordered it as it wasn't available in store). Lamp arrived - it is lovely, but doesn't fit the space. I reached out to the return line this morning, and they said to check with the store first as not all stores will accept returned items purchased through the catalog. No problem. I have tried OVER and OVER to reach the Southpark store, but it always says, Press 2 for a sales person, then is says LINE IS BUSY. It has been busy all morning which means they are NOT answering their phone or only have ONE line? Really? So now, I have to drag this heavy lamp through the mall in hopes they MIGHT take it back. They should at least allow me the option of being placed on hold for the next available person.UPDATE: I finally got through to the store after 20 minutes. They will not take the lamp back, but they are going to arrange to have UPS pick it up from my home. I still think they need a better answering option on their phone.

Table arrived missing large parts, not a few bolts but actual pieces of the table. The best they can do is 2 weeks for the parts. For the price of the products, one would think Customer Satisfaction would be a priority but no. We now have a useless table and the family of 5 will continue to eat standing up.
