Dr. Humphrey is hands down the best vet I have ever had. He is thorough, has extensive knowledge with a strong background, including emergency situations. He takes his time with his patients and provides genuine care. We have been a part of his practice for 10 years and now my 2 daughters are also using Dr. Humphrey for their pets. Amazing practice!

Dr. Humphrey and staff were most accommodating with our rescue dog, Zeus, who had several ongoing issues that needed to be addressed before going into his forever adoptive home. The time and care taken with this sweet boy, his adopters, and our rescue organization was truly above and beyond! We so appreciate Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic, their expertise, kindness and obvious concern for animals. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of using Ballantyne Vet, and specifically having Dr Humphrey as our vet over the last 4 years. When we moved here, I felt lucky to connect directly with Dr Humphrey right away when I called the practice right at the opening of their day and he answered the phone. We had a nice conversation about our dog, Roscoe, her health issues and our need to establish ourselves with a good local provider.
Over the next several years Roscoe experienced a bunch of serious and not so serious health issues- GI upsets, allergies, high blood pressure, joint issues and Cushings to name just a few.
Dr Humphrey and his team provided excellent care and support each and every time we brought Roscoe in. Health issues were addressed and were, for the most part, resolved quickly. In one instance Dr Humphey recommended tests so he could be certain of a Cushings diagnosis and recommend the right course of treatment. He put us in the hands of a great Specialist who helped us to understand Roscoe’s problem and our options for treating it.
Finally, and very recently, when Roscoe was failing and quite sick we made the difficult decision to put her to sleep. We will never forget the compassion we felt from Dr Humphrey and his team. The Dr’s words during this last visit were comforting and helped us handle Roscoe’s passing.
We recommend Ballantine Vet whole heartedly.

I have brought my 7 month old kitty here twice and have had a wonderful experience both times. Dr. Julie Blevins and the staff are amazing. It's obvious that they love our furry friends and care about their wellbeing. I won't be bringing my cat anywhere else in the future.
