To my surprise, I was standing there in commercial for more than ten minutes, and he was still answering customers on the phone.I couldn't believe it he cannot understandsomething like this simple.

A few years ago, I went in for a battery or more likely wipers. I was told that they are not allowed by Pineville ordinance to go outside to give service. Friends were told the same. Today, 2-4-24, I took my wipers inside, identified the car, told them I hoped they could sell me the rubber only, instead of the whole assembly, and could they please install the rubbers there in the store. The told me they weren't allowed. So I picked up my worn wipers, told them I knew they weren't allowed to go outside to help, and that I would go elsewhere, thanks. In reading the owner responses to these negative reviews, nothing is said about any city ordinance prohibiting outside or inside customer service.I will never go there again, had my last look around today. I may boycott ALL Auto Zone's. If you need any assistance, you may want to go elsewhere than 8500 Pineville Matthews Rd. Advance Auto is where I will go for any additional auto parts. So, owner sir, are there any city rules, prohibiting customer service, or is this lack of service, merely store policy ?

They actually know about cars. I have been to many AutoZone and this 8500, by far is the best. they actually know about cars.

although this AutoZone cannot do any repair for you due to the city limitation. These guys and gal were the absolute best. they were able to help me find the part I needed and taught me through how I could try to get it done on my own. I was able to get it done, and I thanked him for their expertise.

This Autozone has given me horrible service every time I have come in. Impolite employees who only do the bare minimum. They refused to read a code on my car (amidst the fact they HAVE a code reader), although every other Autozone I’ve ever been to was more than happy to help with this issue.

I had tried to get my tires replaced by appointment at a different shop, and they told me they couldn't find my wheel key and wouldn't be able to service my vehicle without it - sending me away (after I had already paid for the tires AND the service). I went in to Autozone to ask how to find it or purchase one and spoke with Austin. He offered to come out to my car to look for it and found it right away. I was really overwhelmed with the previous experience and his time and effort meant so much. I will absolutely be bringing my business to this location in the future, just because of his customer service!

The service at autozone has been getting terrible, they can't even come outside to check my battery. Because of a "city ordinance". So they are not allowed to go outside.

AutoZone truly has the best people! Today, a nice 47-year-old with 3 decades of experience working on cars helped my dad and me out when we were trying to replace a car battery. He was so helpful with his advice and walked us through the process out of the kindness of his own heart. This man is a gem and needs a raise! The people at this Pineville-Matthews Rd location are awesome, and I've only had great experiences there!

Good store. Just because the web says they have it in stock, always good to call and confirm before a trip.
