Unlike Nancy M, who was wise in the way of the Luxardo, I fell victim to the grand cocktail cherry scandal and paid $45 (with tax) for a product that should never break $30. I reached out to the store for clarity with the hope that they would tell me it was an error, but they dug in the proverbial heels and told me that prices of cherries skyrocketed during the pandemic and that their small footprint wouldn't allow for better sourcing. I hope Assorted Table is basking in the $15 victory by setting up an Amazon account and using my free money to source cherries at $17 a jar, the current rate for a 3-pack on everyone's favorite online monopolist. This way, the next Jeff or Nancy, the lonely souls who simply want a better Last Word and can't go elsewhere, won't get taken to the cleaners.

Nice atmosphere if you like to go and dine in with a BYOB option. However, they have a narrow choice of wines. Most wines to over priced.

This place is such a GEM! You can grab a bottle to take home or grab a split and have it there. The staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. It freaky is a neighborhood jewel. It's not a huge shop but i much prefer to get wine there vs a supermarket.

$41.99 was the price of a jar of Luxardo cherries. Yes... a... jar... of... cherries! $41.99! Double the price of normal retail for the item. I had to laugh as I handed it back to the gentleman. That is embarrassing for them.

Pretty good selection of wines from around the world. And an incredibly friendly shop owner. It’s a pleasure to shop here.

My girlfriend and I were in Charlotte for a concert and stopped by for a glass of wine on Friday evening. An older gentleman helped us and he was so kind and knowledgeable and had great wine recommendations. When grabbing coffee on Sunday morning, we made sure we said hi to him and thanked him for his great service. Stop by for wonderful wines and I hope you get to meet the sweetest gentleman too!!

Came to the market for Geno D's pizza and ended up wandering over to get a glass of wine. An older gentlemen helped me pick a wine and chatted with me for a bit. Super nice and knowledgeable and ended up picking a phenomenal wine for me to try. Will definitely be coming back. Such a great experience and staff.

This is our favorite local wine shop! Everyone is super knowledgeable and attentive. The selection is impressive for a small shop from wines to all kinds of specialty bar accoutrements like bitters and cherries. I really appreciate that while they have wines available for all price points and aren’t pretentious about it at all - they’ll match you with a wine you love for your budget. They always have some kind of event going on and their n*** collectibles for sale are definitely worth browsing! We’ve been a part of their wine club and love that service too!

Great spot for a quick drink with friendly and helpful staff inside 7th Street. Brought us an ice bucket halfway through to keep our cheap wine chilled - can’t beat that service!

Very nice spot with various bottle of wine. It's located within the uptown market place. The gentleman whom I assume is the owner is very knowledgeable, witty and hilarious. It was a simple encounter but an amazing one which to me is what truly counts.

Grabbed a glass of wine prior to a show at Blumenthal. We also used 7th street deck to park and start our evening. The staff here at Assorted Table Wine & Shop were super nice and ready to make recommendations. Maybe it was a Friday evening, so everyone was in a good mood, folks in the market were having dinner and being merry.I, myself had not been to the market in a LONG LONG time. Good to see that the ATW&S is still here (and thriving). I know the staples that I usually expected to see at the market have since moved on, but new vendors have taken their place.Ended up splitting a half bottle and it was the perfect "pre-game" before our show.I do need to check out the events that ATW&S co-sponsors and throws with the market. Just overall a great place to shop for wine and or have a drink. There's a lot of cool collectable items (prominently displayed in their logo redesign as well as the display cases). Makes for a cool and eclectic experience shopping here.

This place is great.I’ve been buying wines from Josh since I moved to NC in 2005. He’s been really great at understanding the wines I like and steering me to wines that are similar to what I enjoy. The crew here are all really helpful and they have a great selection of wine.Tuesday night wine flights are a great way to socialize and explore different wines as well (5 wine samples for 5$ is hard to beat!)

Such a little cute wine shop that is in 7th Market in Uptown! They have a nice variety of wines. I wanted something similar that I tried at a different place, but they didn’t have it. They recommended me something very similar and it was great! The guy at the register let know they could special order it too, which I thought was pretty cool! Try the Elektrisch Riesling.

I love this spot! I discovered this place while at a Yelp Elite event at Geno D's Pizza some months ago and I came back again a few weeks ago. Cool shop with tons of wine options, the gentleman that works there is super nice and helps making the best recommendations based off what you like. I prefer red, smokey, dry type wines so he sold me a bottle of something and I just sat there and enjoyed the glasses. This was on a Sunday too and I think they closed at 5pm and I got there like 4:30 but I wasn't kicked out for being there after 5 so that was great. I want some more wine now that I'm talking about it
