“The lines are terrible but the employees are sweet as can be. There is a major difference between this store and the mooresville store. At this location they price things honestly and honor the sales. Mooresville has been caught too many times messing up our receipts. At one point I had to turn around and get over $30 back. The university location hasn’t had that issue. Not even once.”

“What a wonderful shop. I first started going there to shop for cute jewelry gifts for my friends, family and patients. Now I have a fledgling business and I am in love with all the gorgeous and high-quality beads and supplies. Everyone there is wonderful and always helpful. I still buy pretty jewelry there as well (as of yesterday!). The store is great for so many things - gifts, gorgeous supplies and more. I know they also make custom things for clients and when I was there recently someone came in asking about a mala, and they were going to make him one then and there. I have a feeling it was beautiful and he left happy. What a joy to walk into a business with such a positive and lovely feel.”

“The new location is good. This is the third or fourth move for them in the past 12 years, or so. Cheap Joe's always has what I need. My chief concern with this nee location involves the lighting in this store. It has limited lighting, using eye-straining florescent tube lighting. The poor lighting makes it difficult to see any differences in the many subtle hues. This makes buying paint difficult. I like the brush selection. They have reasonable prices for a wide range of skill levels and paint media. The staff is helpful. If they don't know about a particular product, they will get someone who does, and they won't fake it. I appreciate that. I am grateful to have a dedicated art brick-and-mortar store. It is fun to see all the different art supplies for a variety of mediums. Thankfully, this new location has a larger parking lot, and it's flat.”

“Jo-Ann Fabrics is a great place to find all sorts of crafting supplies, from fabric and yarn to buttons and beads. They have a wide selection of items to choose from, and their staff is always helpful. I also love that they always have coupons and sales going on, so you can usually find a good deal.
However, the quality of the fabrics can vary, and some of their items can be a bit pricey. Overall, though, Jo-Ann Fabrics is a great resource for crafters of all levels.”
