Dr.Zulty and vet tech Charlize Gonzalez were amazing for my puppy Daisy! The whole staff has been amazing taking care of my dog while she is being updated on shots and while I had concerns of my puppy having worms. I couldn’t have had a better experience with a veterinarian that truly cares about my dog and takes time to explain things as a first time puppy owner!

Zoomie always enjoys her stay at Animal Medical Hospital. We’ve been boarding her at AMH for several years now and know that our fur baby is in good hands. The staff know her by name and always look forward to seeing her.

They just outed themselves for not caring about their customers or the animals and just being about the money. I will literally never ever take my dogs here again because of the insensitivity and poor attitude I just received from them.
Four months ago I was on a work trip when my dog became suddenly ill, eventually resulting in me having to fly home to make the most difficult decision of my life to put my best friend of 12 years down. Fast forward to today, AR calls for payment for a bill I never received and we realize she’s sent the bill to an old address from EIGHT years ago. She then makes a dig about how she “doesn’t understand how I wouldn’t realize I had a bill though” so I explained how I was out of town when he was taken there and he ended up at a different vet and that my friend handled everything for me. I said to her that I’m sure she could understand with flying home to suddenly put my dog down that it was a really difficult time with a lot going on and sometimes things get lost in the mix. HER RESPONSE TO ME? “Right, well still.”
Animal Medical Hospital should lock her in the back and keep her from ever speaking to customers. Also don’t get the attitude if she had my number the whole time. She could have picked up the phone and solved this a lot sooner, maybe without the added attitude.
Animal Medical Hospital was the one that made my friend bring him to another vet anyways which is how this bill got forgotten about. And now I’m paying two vet bills because of them anyways.

Compassionate care for all of our animals. We love the extended hours and availability of urgent care. They understand that not everyone can afford to spend tens of thousands on one animal and do not push expensive tests/surgeries unless they absolutely believe it will provide solutions. We were able to medically board one of our cats there and they took amazing care of him, calling every day with updates. Dr. Oberst is our favorite but every Doc we've seen has been amazing. Highly recommend.

Great business all around, from the vet services to the in house boarding. It's a one stop shop kinda place. My pup loves being dropped off for boarding and is wiped out when she gets home.
They also have an App that has all her records and keeps you up to date on what shots are due and you can book via the App as well.
Been using them for over 15 years and this is my second dog with that. Couldn't be happier with the service!

Everyone at this Animal Hospital was just amazing! I came in with my dog who had never been here before - he was in severe distress, having an extended seizure. Vet techs were at my car with a stretcher within 1 minute of my arrival to help me get my dog in the hospital and into a room. Dr Polen came into the room within minutes, and was so helpful and knowledgeable. Devon and other vet techs were so incredibly caring and excellent at their job! I have never had such personalized and wonderful service at any veterinary place. And they didn't even know me or my dog (who is aggressive with adults). Dr Polen and Devon even drove my dog in their own car to the nearest place for him to be hospitalized. The whole staff went way above and beyond for us!! I would wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone! They will be our permanent vet going forward. Thanks so much, Dr Polen & staff!!

Brought my dog for an emergency toxication at 12am . Front desk staff was very friendly and quick to access the situation and checked her in. The doctor and assistant were careful and adjusting to my dog because she's spicy nice. The hospital was clean. The visit and care itself was inexpensive. Pleased about the service

Animal Medical Review In February of this year, I had to make the decision that ALL pet owners dread... to let my pet pass. I knew I wanted a calm, soothing, low lighted, comfortable environment, so I called around with my list of needs to find the perfect fit. Animal Medical Hospital and Urgent Care said that they had all that I was looking for. I could even pay ahead to save the emotional stress of having to do it "afterwards". They even have a "rear private entrance" available. Unfortunately, this is NOT the care we received. Upon our arrival late in the evening, we couldn't find the "rear entrance" and was finally let in through the front door. This is how the evenings events transpired. 1. I was NOT allowed to pay ahead. 2. We were led to a BRIGHT exam room with a bench seat. When I asked about the "comfort room" the tech was unaware of such a room. 3. Our pet was taken back to put in the IV and was returned with a BLANKET to lay on and the IV dangling. We had brought our pets blanket with us. 4. The Vet came in and was very sympathetic and tried to explain what would happen during the process. "When you're ready" we were told. Our pet was stressed off the charts even with the "sedative" they said they administered. She wouldn't lay down or relax. So we begged the vet to please help us. Our precious girl eventually collapsed in my arms and continued to fight. In a few moments... she was gone. Condolences were given, the tech returned with the bill and said they were going to bring in the cart to remove her. I said NO! I actually screamed, THAT'S why I wanted to pay ahead!! She asked if we wanted to wait for the free paw print and I again said NO... I'd come back. We left in tears to say the least A few days later, I tried to schedule the pick up for Zee's paw print. I was told It wasn't back yet. So I asked, then why was I asked on the DAY, if I wanted to WAIT for it?? That's when I asked to speak with the office manager. She returned my call and said she would review the video and get back to me. A couple days later, she called and said she was "mortified with the way our visit was handled and she was extremelydisappointedin her team!" She offered me a full refund and her apologies. She said she would call me as soon as she found the paw print. Well........... she couldn't find my baby's paw print. And she couldn't even guarantee that it had EVEN BEEN DONE!! The tears and heart break that we have been through is unimaginable. Now I know, "mistakes happen" and "no one is perfect" but THIS seems inexcusable. This was to most HORRIFIC experience I have EVER been through with the passing of one of my fur babies. And I felt the need to tell everyone. Make your own decision for your final goodbye with your furry loved one. But please... think twice before using Animal Medical for these types of services. I thought I had done my due diligence and research to ensure my baby would be safe and cared for. I was mistaken... Our babies deserve BETTER!!!! Update - The office manager was VERY helpful!

DO NOT TRUST THIS PRACTICE WITH ANY PET. Incompetent and money hungry. Almost killed my baby who simply needed a dose of antibiotics. Came in with a kitten with textbook coccidia symptoms. Visibly dehydrated, failing the pinch test... Asked the vet to do a basic fecal, she refused and said she needed to test for Parvo because he looked so bad. He was negative, $300~ test for absolutely nothing. Any vet will tell you a fecal is the first thing you go to, but the vet acted like I was crazy for suggesting this. I got rushed out even though they were not busy. They didn't give the kitten fluids even though he was so weak he could barely hold up his head and I explicitly asked for fluids, as I had been force feeding him water and electrolytes through a syringe because he was not eating or drinking and having diarrhea, which can very quickly kill a kitten 5wks old like he was. I cannot believe they told me he looked so sick they were convinced he had Parvo, yet told me he didn't need fluids. WTF. I was assured he was perfectly fine and trusted the doctor and gave him the week of probiotics as prescribed ($60+!). It did nothing for him and he grew more and more sick. $500 for a complete waste of time. Had to rush him to another competent vet who immediately suggested coccidia and lo-and behold, after a $20 fecal I was right. I have family members who are vets and they couldn't believe the situation. This is NOT the place to go if you have any other options. Unfortunately it's about the only place open 24/7, but if it can wait, take your pet anywhere else. They are dismissive and will completely rip you off. He survived, but it was very touch and go... There was absolutely zero reason for an extremely common issue that is easily treated to have gotten that bad. He almost died because of the vets incompetence.

I had a discount here after adopting my 2yr old pup from animal care and control in Charlotte. I needed boarding for a few days on short notice not too long after adopting him and was very nervous to leave my boy with strangers. I went here first for a check up and to get his needed vaccines for boarding and the vet staff could not have been sweeter to myself and my dog. I drove an hour from Mooresville not just for the coupon I had but because I knew after my initial visit this place cared about the animals that came in the door. There aren’t cameras or anything for boarding but you can always call for updates, if they don’t contact you first, no news is good news. I called daily like a crazy person and they eased my anxiety giving me updates about how he did great with the littles group. It gave me a good feeling knowing they asked me questions about his personality before leaving him. I told them he has been great with smaller dogs but likes to jump on bigger dogs and they truly listened to this and gave him the perfect play group. I also brought extra things for him just incase knowing they might not make it back with me because of the policy’s and such but wanted him to have my scent. They gave me back everything I had. I was even able to pick him up 10 min before closing having driven straight back from traveling. Everyone was so kind to me and my pup and cared about my concerns. I would 100% drive an hour here again to have him in good hands. Thank you.

The staff are magnificent! I’ve been taking my furry babies to Animal Medical Hospital & Urgent Care for years. They put me at ease and provide my babies with the best medical care. I’ve taken advantage of their cat boarding service and they have been very communicative via text and email since I am anxious being away from my little baby. I highly recommend taking your pets in for loving care and safe boarding.

Staff is very friendly and they are quick. I brought my dog in because he swallowed corn on the cob and needed him to throw it up. i was seen by the nurse before I could even finish my paperwork and my son was induced immediately. The doctor came out and told me he threw up most of the remnants and that if I think that was all of it he may be able to by pass xrays which helped me save a lot of money! pricing is not bad for emergency services and they are fast and nice! can't ask for much more thanks all!
