Looks can be very deceiving. Be careful that the appearance does not fool you. I spoke to a man named Stan here and he was so rude as I barely got a word out. He was not a Christian and for that reason, I do not recommend this center. As business owners living in this world, we cannot allow ourselves to be overtaken by negativity and a lack of spirituality. Poor behavior Stan is the reason for this review.

Been coming here since I was a child. I just feel now that the people working need to be more friendly. I'm just saying....it is the Adventist Book Center. Last couple of times I've gone in there I felt like I was an inconvenience.

I spoke to Stan today on the phone about getting the new Sabbath School Quarterly coming up. Unfortunately, I have to say, it was not a pleasant experience. As I explained to him the issue I was having finding it on their website, I asked him if he could stay on the phone long enough to walk me through in case I had anymore complications. He rudely refused, saying he had other customers, and that if I had anymore problems, just call and place my order. Mind you, they close at 5:30pm, and the time I called was 5:16pm. With that being said, I am not convinced that he was so busy with customers that he couldn't have gave me two minutes of his time, if that long. Will not take it personal because I know my God, and why this is happening so much lately. After all, we are at the end times, and therefore, will see a lot more of this than we will love and care. However, for those who are new to Christianity, and searching for truth, please do not stray away from Adventists, and God. There's bad in every denomination, but also good. Just keep your eyes open to us (good ones), and you'll find us. So sorry for anyone else who has had these experiences within Adventism and Christianity as a whole, for that matter. It is truly an embarrassment to us when others say they're Christian but don't act like it. It really gives us a bad name. I will be praying for you, and those who aren't being Christian.

The store has various services available depending on what is required. It also has an extensive range of healthy Vegetarian and Vegan foods, very easy to prepare in our homes. And wonderful books with different themes that enrich knowledge, in a safe, clear and correct way. ??

I am rating this store a one star. Yes we all are wearing mask but your eyes can be friendly. I called the store and spoke to Niya and she was pleasant. I walked in the store and the man in the green shirt saw me walk in and didn’t speak or anything. He walked in the back and came back out and I was standing there as a first time customer. He walked past me, not once did he say can I help you or nothing. Not even a hello. I asked him about a book and he nastily said what and I asked again and he said we don’t have it and walked away. I expect better service than that from a person working working in supposedly a Christian book store. I see another person reviewed it the same. Probably the same person I encountered. Take some customer service tips from Chick filet or better yet be kind or get out of customer service. What a rude person. Never again will I go in there EVER. May God warm his cold heart.

Simply the Best. I buy all of my Sabbath School materials from there. When ever I need any Christian items, the ACB is my go to place. I can remember when it used to be called ABC store but in NC that stands for the liquor store. I love that store, can't every leave without spending more money than I expected to spend.
