Pleased with my install from 50 Floor. They were quick and efficient; entire job was done in half a day. Kept me up-to-date frequently on install date, time, and materials. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra for the quality of work. Would recommend.Service: Install flooring

Original install was great. Service after a totally different story. Phone calls and messages not returned. Told me I would have a service date, then didn't even put me on the calendar. Not sure I would use them ever again if my floors were not under warranty.

Learn from my mistake, stay away from 50 Floor. They managed to turn our ~800 sqft install of hardwood floors into an absolute nightmare. If you choose to do business with them prepare for the following: 1) low quality workmanship with zero attention to detail, 2) no prep work will be performed which is crucial for hardwood floors, 3) no communication from or with sub-contractors, 4) no shows on days when installs are supposed to start/continue, 5) tons of wasted product, 6) no meaningful compensation for missed commitments, poor experiences, or wasted product. All and all, 50 Floor's tactic is to drag-out a job so long and create such a bad experience that you agree it's complete and pay them just to get them out of your life.Service: Wood floor installation

Prior owner of my home used 50 Floor to have laminate flooring installed throughout house except in hallway. I had 50 Floor come out and match up the flooring as close as possible since style used was no longer available. The process with salesperson through install was very smooth and installer did a nice job with installing the flooring. I would consider 50 Floor again for future flooring needs.Service: Laminate floor installation

Okay this was a few years ago but my wife and I were scheduled to have our carpet taken out so we could have hardwood flooring installed in our master bedroom. Once the special day arrived, the 50 Floor crew took the carpet out, then they claimed something was wrong with our sub-floor, and then left. THEY LEFT OUR BEDROOM WITH NOTHING FOR A WHOLE WEEK! After a week 50 Floor never explained what their crew claimed to see with our sub-floor, they simply installed new carpet in our Master Bedroom. We still plan to get hardwood in our master bedroom, just not with 50 Floor. Thanks for nothing 50 Floor. :)

From start to finish, this was such an easy enjoyable process! Douglas Carpenter, out of the Charlotte NC location was our sales person. He was knowledgeable about his products. He was thorough and took his time to explain the different floors. He was very nice! The men that came to lay the floors were amazing as well. They were extremely hard efficient workers. The text alert/email updates were on point. I could not be happier with my floors and the process in whole.

Great price on quality carpet. Douglas came to our home with lots of samples. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.50 floor beat other quotes by less than half. Installer was great, showed up on time and got the job done quickly and professionally. Job site was left clean. I’m very pleased with 50 floor. Would definitely recommend. ??

The salesman was a fool. Tried to get me at16,000 to do 1000 sq feet of hardwood. Funny to watch him squirm when I said carpet upstairs instead because he offered the exact same price as if it was hardwood still. This didn't/doesn't make sense. Then as the dunce realized he was losing the sale bc I was catching onto the fact they were charging me extra for no reason he drops it to 12k for whole house hardwood. So you're willing to let me sign for 16k for something you're now offering for 12? Then pathetically as he left he desperately offered 11k. I laughed him out the door as I already had a contractor doing it for 3500 plus materials. So 5700 total v 16,000 from 50 floor. CALL A REAL CONTRACTOR. This place is a scam. There nothing else to call you people other than scammers. How can you be proud of your business or yourself? I guess everyone's gotta make money somehow. Just sad. All of you.

Wanted to wait till I was able to exam corners and seams B4 I gave review. All is great! Salesmen was very friendly and informative. 2 people came on time to install carpet in 3 bedrooms and hallway. Went to work immediately and was impressed on how fast and accurate they were. They did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend 50floor.

Would have been a great experience but they decided to not to complete stairs, for some reason they did not add it to their paperwork so saying that it was not part of the initial agreement. House is left like the picture. Why would I not include the stair, I got quotes from different installers, 50 floor offered the best, little did I know they don't include stairs. Not happy

SECOND POST. I spoke to a person at 50 Floor. It turned into a very ugly conversation. Still nothing was resolved and they were arrogant in their language. I must have been on speaker because it sounded like a man in the background telling the woman some thing's for her to say to me. Buyer beware.

So we called again today and were told for $300 they would come out and attempt to fix our floor using a few pieces that we saved from the install. They claim our flooring has been discontinued (although the flooring on their website looks just like ours, it maybe a different stock # but very close). IF they damage more flooring while they are attempting to fix it is tough doodoo for us and we still owe them the $300. Really what has happened to customer service and standing by product. THINK LONG AND HARD if considering 50 FLOORS to be your vendor! AGAIN ASK FOR AT LEAST A BOX when they are done in case you have problems in the future..

Our sales rep was awesome and helped us greatly with deciding the right flooring for our project. We were excited. The scheduling process was super easy and they were accommodating as well. The work was done quickly and everyone was on time. The one thing that we did not like was we were told the workers would clean everything up, including all the dust making sure that everything was left as they found it. However, that is not the case...That was disappointing so we had to spend 2 days cleaning the entire upstairs since the air was left on in the house and dust got everywhere.

Update- installers came four days later and did an amazing job. They stayed late and got it done in one day instead of two. We were issued a credit for the pool table services. So far I am not impressed. We spent the entire weekend preparing 7 bedrooms and a loft area for our scheduled carpet install today. This was not an easy task with 6 kids living in our household. Everything off closet and bedroom floors, all dressers and flat surfaces cleared, beds stripped, etc. We also had to spend over $800 to have our pool table in our loft area disassembled and moved to our dining room with reassembly scheduled for the day after the carpet was supposed to be installed. We had a carpenter scheduled to install new baseboards in three of the rooms the next day and have four new bedroom sets being delivered two days after. At 9am on the day of installation we were concerned that we hadn’t gotten an ETA. I also noticed on the confirmation email that the date didn’t match the day of the week, but the date matched what they gave us when they called and scheduled it. Called 1-877 number the morning of installation and they said our carpet was being loaded in the truck and we would get a call with an ETA from the installer shortly. Installer finally called and they said they have the flu and said the soonest they could install was five days later. They claimed they only have one crew in the whole Charlotte area and they are all out sick. The installation scheduling manager was sympathetic, apologized, and said he will make sure we are taken care of, but not sure what that means. We cannot get the billiard company to come back out until after Thanksgiving, which means we have to cancel our Thanksgiving dinner guests, because the pool table will still be in pieces in there. I hope to be able to update this review with something more positive.
