Staff never offered to help. I had to chase them to get support. They refused to test a lawnmower (which all other hardware stores do). After paying, they forgot to give me one of my bags, and I had to go back and ask for it. On the bright side, one of the staff members offered to help me load up the lawnmower.

Always a great experience at Ace Westlake. I want to call attention to the fact that Kade is always so helpful and friendly at the front of the store. And today Dominic was extremely helpful getting me the exact tool that I needed for a specific project. It’s refreshing that 2 young men are so knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. We need more Kades and Dominics in the world. Thank you.

Nice to have this ACE store back at this location. The upgraded and well organized layout makes finding your gear easy. The folks at this store all have been trained to present and share their knowledge of the stores products and services. A very refreashing experience that reminds me of my local hardware store (years ago), back when you could talk shop around a wood burning stove and get to know your neighbors working there too. ?

I love this place, the employees are super helpful, unlike town and country, and they have everything. But please consider extending weekend hours. 6pm is a little early to close especially in summer. There’s nowhere else within 15 minutes open so it seems like it would do pretty good business.

Normally I would rate Westlake Ace Hardware high, but my recent experience has soured me on this store. I purchased 4ace furnace filters with a buy 3 get one free deal. I also had a coupon for $5.00 so all told the purchase was very reasonable. I realized I had 3 wrong size filters so went to exchange them the next day. An even trade right? No, they made the transaction difficult by returning money back to my card then recharging me for the the new exchanges. Problem was the amount put back on my card was about $4.00 less then what they charged me. The manager's explanation was that I couldn't use the coupon twice, so I was being charged the difference for the new transaction sans coupon. I tried to argue that it was a 1 to 1 exchange and not a new transaction, but to no avail. If that is their coupon policy and the way they want to treat customers then I will shop elsewhere. Disappointed as to how this was handled.. I tried to say
