After using this location for a year I left because I got such poor service from the daytime pharmacy tech. My husband convinced me to go back because of the convenience of this location. The same tech, Dawn, refused to acknowledge me when I approached. When she did look up, she mumbled with a frown if she could help me. At this point I’m groveling my request. She starts shaking her head “no” before I’m even finished. I ended up calling the pharmacist to get an answer to my question. I really hate to complain about an employee, but Walgreens has lost my business.

Came in to pick up a prescription for someone and was treated extremely rude by the pharmacist. Customer service skills are clearly lacking at this location .

Best customer service I have experienced in years. Kindest employees ever. Nothing but love for this location. After being disappointed by almost every other pharmacy in our area this location shined and allowed us to get what we needed.

After really bad experiences over the past weeks from other places, this was just awesome. Shout-out especially to Simon, the operations manager, the nurse and everyone there. Everyone was super nice and professional. You are amazing and this is by far the best Chemist in NC Chapel Hill/Durham. Thank you.

I’ve been coming to this location to get my prescriptions filled at this location for almost two years now, and for the majority of that time, my experience with the pharmacy staff has been unpleasant. It’s not the pharmacist, so much so as it is the staff. There is one tech in particular that is always there and during each encounter she is always very rude. Just very poor customer service skills. Today I just became so fed up that I decided to call Harris Teeter Pharmacy and have my prescriptions transferred there. I should have transferred a long time ago, and could have saved myself many unpleasant and inconvenient experiences

This pharmacy is woefully negligent in filling prescriptions. The past summer, a free home delivery through this specific pharmacy took at least 120 days. The latest fiasco is the filling of a new prescription, Thursday, June 10, 2021. At least four hours later (in person), I was told it was out-of-stock; had to be ordered; and would be in the following day. Of course, the call I was to receive never happened. Five days later -- no medication or telephone call. With my call just now --"Oh, the prescription was filled yesterday; someone should have called you. It is ready."The bottom line is, find another Walgreens Pharmacy for your medications. There must be a better one in Chapel Hill-Durham.

Prescriptions can be nearly impossible to get due to insurance companies. Pharmacist Katie has been nothing but helpful when issues arise. I hope Walgreens appreciates her as much as I do.

I recently moved and changed my prescriptions to be picked up at this location. I was in and out w/ no hassles and they even went above and beyond to change my address to my new one. I have been to this Walgreens several times to shop and was always pleased - I am happy to see the pharmacy and techs are also great too.

I had to drop off approximately 40 packages to be picked up by fedex at this location, although they barely had the space for it, they went above and beyond and took them in so I could catch my flight In time. Really saved me and the staff was so helpful!

I strongly suggest not using Walgreens Pharmacy. I am a Type I diabetic and rely on a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM) to monitor my glucose levels on a real time basis. This is especially important because I often experience dangerously low glucose levels in the middle of the night and am alerted by my CGM when this happens so I can treat the condition. I recently received an automated text msg from Walgreens that the transmitter for the CGM which last 90 days was set to expire and I submitted a request to have the prescription refilled as I have done in the past with no problem. My insurance is with Medicare and Walgreens is an approved supplier of they Dexcom G6 CGM for Medicare. Unlike the last time the prescription was refilled I received a response from Walgreens that they were waiting for the insurance coverage to be approved. Several days passed with no update from Walgreens so when I called they said they have not heard from Medicare and told me to call Medicare myself which I did. Medicare confirm the CGM transmitter was covered and puzzled by the Walgreens position. After three more days I called Medicare again trying to determine the hold up for this vital medical device and they got on the phone with Walgreen's and me at the same time. Walgreens again claimed they had submitted the request and the Medicare person gave them another number to call since Walgreens claimed they only had one contact number. Still no response from Walgreens and my transmitter is about to expire! In desperation I visit the store today and spoke with the pharmacist. After a long about 10 minutes of researching the claim, the pharmacist sheepishly admitted that MAYBE they have changed the procedure and that it MIGHT take up to 14 days for approval for this device that had previously been approved immediately and there was nothing else she could do. I the meantime my CGM transmitter will expire and I will just have to take my chances with low blood sugars at night and hope the prescription will be approved. This type of service does not deserve my business and I plan on switching providers as I suggest other should so as well.

I needed to visit this Walgreens on a quick business trip as I had forgotten my toiletry bag. I am terrible at finding things in stores so I asked a associate, Zack, for some help. he was super helpful, funny, and able to help me get all the things I needed. Considering my flight was an awful experience it was super great to have someone go the extra measure to be helpful and brighten the day. I am impressed by this excellent level of customer service, cleanliness, and everyone was masked and practicing social distancing. Keep up the great work Walgreens!

Supposedly they have walk in service for flu shots. I went at nine am and there was no one there getting flu shots. I was told to wait until 9:40 am and see if they had a no show. I asked if they could check the time I had actually booked but they said they couldn't. I asked if I could make an appointment with them as I stood at their desk and they said no. So I waited and left at 9:40 and booked an appointment online and thankfully took a picture of my upcoming 3:40pm appointment. I went back at 3:40 and they had no record of my appointed time. Second I had to wait 35 minutes. Lastly it was a student who was fine but why can't they pay a licensed nurse or healthcare worker. Please go somewhere else.
