The good:The teachers truly care about the children and their well being. They are invested in the children and genuinely enjoy what they do. They do lots of activities throughout the day and have organized classrooms. The staff and teachers also make an effort to get to know the parents. The areas for improvement:Our first day was a bit overwhelming. Some formal introduction or time to visit and get to know the class would have helped us.The reason we left the Goddard:We believe the owner could be more supportive of the staff and teachers. While we were enrolled at the Goddard, I only saw the owner 3 times on site (over many months). The Goddard is a franchise business. The owner of this Goddard franchise also has several other businesses. In total I was able to locate 5 registered corporations for Asish Tripathi (the owner). We hope the staff and teachers feel supported in the work they do. We did not get the sense that they have as much support as they need from the owner.

It is clear that Goddard teachers and staff all care for my baby deeply. My baby is excited and happy to be dropped off. They go above and beyond state requirements to have lower child:teacher ratios and to have greater staggering between classrooms. I also love the celebration of diversity in their teachings and that there are both male and female teachers at the site.

The staff and teachers have made me and my son feel welcome and have taken away all of my worries about my son starting daycare for the first time. I feel that they truly love their students and that makes me feel good about going to work!

WARNING: Google reviews of this establishment are aggressively policed by the school and their reputation management company. Negative reviews stay up for hours before magically disappearing. Positive reviews are mostly from bots and written by the school (you'll notice most positive reviewers have never reviewed any other establishment). Don't believe the score, this place is TERRIBLE.Sending our son to this school was the worst parenting decision I have ever made. Our toddler attended this school for only 2 months, attending 2 days per week. He had an unusually difficult time adjusting to his days there, which we initially attributed to an adjustment period.By his second month, though, it became clear that something was not right and that the children were not being properly supervised. Although he only attended the school for 6 days that month, on 3 of those days, we picked him up to find obvious injuries to his face that appeared to be bite marks. We do not know what other physical harm may have come to him that didn't leave scars, but his difficulty in adjusting and genuine fear of the school lead us to believe that other abuses occurred and were either not observed or not disclosed to us.With respect to the 3 bite marks on his face, the school initially denied that his injuries were from biting, telling us instead they were self-inflicted from scratching. However, after the third incident, a bite that came dangerously close to his eye, they finally admitted that they have a serious problem with children biting each other, and that his other injuries were the result of being bitten by other students. Seema, the owner, told us that at least 3 of the students in the young toddler class have been labelled by the school administration as "biters", and that there was essentially nothing substantive she could do about it.To add insult to injury, the owner was incredulous that we would not send our son back to the school, and refused to refund tuition that had been paid in advance, citing a "no refunds" policy. She even had the audacity to ask that we pay an additional months tuition, as they have a 30 day written notice cancellation policy. If you are considering sending your child here, PLEASE reconsider. Feel free to follow up with me and I will be happy to provide additional details about our ordeal here.

Very poor communication. My daughter was in the infant program and I was never notified if she had a new teacher or if she was put in a different classroom due to staff issues. The updates they provided about naps, diapers, and feedings was never accurate and they would forget to log information on a regular basis.

Could not be more happy with our experience at The Goddard School. A learning environment filled with love and nurture. Teachers are wonderful and the school is extremely well managed. Thank you to the whole team!

“We have absolutely loved our time at Goddard! The teachers and staff are amazing. We have recommended it to our close friends who recently joined as well. Our son has learned so much in his time there. The curriculum is very interactive and has a good amount of structure. We have no doubt our son will be well-prepared for grade school.”

Our family had an amazing experience at Goddard. From the administrative staff at the front desk (Ms. Kelli and the owner Ms. Seema!) to our rock star teachers, Ms. Nicole and Ms. Monique, we LOVED our experience. We had a wonderful in-home provider prior to this experience and we were hesitant to go to a large place. He was safe, loved and learned a tremendous amount. He blossomed during his time at Goddard and I loved all of the opportunity it gave us. And it's fun! Lots of out of school and community activities and fun days at school. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The Goddard school is the right fit for our son. He loves it there! The leadership is very attentive and helpful. The teachers are trained well & love the kids. The teachers at the Goddard school take the development of each kid seriously and from our experience they've done so in love. The overall experience has been good and we feel our son is in good hands when we take him to school.

I used to stay in Durham / Chappelhill border, when I was looking for a good daycare option in and around my area for my 17 months old I found Goddard Chappel Hill with highest rating in Google and networking sites, I didn’t do any research after that and went on to go with the ratings on the sites. Undoubtedly its one of the best Daycare learning school in this area. We are pleased with the results in last 10 months of my kids stay in this daycare. He has learnt lot of discipline especially with taking food, handling things, requesting for permission for performing any activity. Hospitality from all his teachers (from both Puffers and Starfish class) has been outstanding. Ved as well as we will be missing Goddard Chapel Hill. Will definitely recommend this daycare center for anyone looking for best in this locality.

Goddard school has been more than a preschool for my child. As a mother with no immediate family in the State, Ms. Seema and almost every teacher I have interacted with (two of them moved) are like family to me. Ms. Seema especially has listening ears and has made specific adjustment with us during challenges and emergencies. I am blessed to have a babysitter in one of the teachers from the school, thus making the School about 50% my support system in matters concerning my child. The classes are wonderful, the curriculum and daily feedback system, notice and handling of sick kids etc. have been top-notch. The teacher and student population is rich in diversity and culture and the kids are taught to appreciate and respect differences. I go to work with confidence that my child is in a safe, encouraging, educative, character building and loving environment. Shout-out to Ms. LaQuitta, Ms. Fabiola, Ms. Courtney, Ms. Nicole, Mr. Evans, Ms. Pearl, Ms. Kelli... You all rock!!! Thanks for all you do. Of my numerous, almost everyday interaction with the school, only once in the last ~2years have I had a personal encounter with a newer staff that left me feeling disappointed. I hope she imbibes the Goddard culture fully with time.

teachers are very nice, friendly and full of energy to every child, they taught a lot of things on the class, and there was a topic every week to improve the knowledge of all aspects. I really appreciate the efforts they make to let the kids ready for K.

We love the Minnows class and the Goddard leadership. Brenda and Sakinah are amazing teachers, not only to our baby, but also to us as first-time parents. Our daughter loves coming to daycare and learns so much from her teachers and classmates. Our new favorite milestone is that our daughter waves when you say "hello" in English and "adios" in Spanish. We never have to worry about her at Goddard - we know that she is surrounded by people who really care about her and treat her like their own child. We also trust that if there's anything that we need adjusted, that the leadership is direct, effective and responsive. It is a gift to have such an amazing and positive experience from her first teachers!

Our daughter is there for about half a year now. The classroom is clean and all her teachers are so nice. We like their daily activity report. It provides us topics to talk to our kid after school. She made some best friends from her class. So do us with some of her friends' parents. A really memorable experience to have.
