“Well managed facility, friendly and helpful staff. The facility is very clean and I have not seen any sign of vermin. The units are basic and generally well maintained, but I found an occasional spray of garage door lubrication has made raising the doors much easier for me. Drive-up access was a must, so I was willing to pass several other storages places closer to home. I knocked off one star for the problematic exit onto Old Lystra Rd, which is in the middle of a blind curve. I’ve had a couple of heart-stopping close calls because of speed demons zooming down Old Lystra. Situation could be remedied with mirrors erected opposite the driveway.”
“Public Space has a nice facility in Chapel Hill that would have received a 5 star rating except the doors do not open using the App (as expected) and we were required to insert our lengthy code manually every time we seek entry. This is a circumstance that should be fixed immediately and never should have been allowed to exist. Further, there are no lights within the cubicles. I can understand why individual lighting for each space may not be available, but I have rented many spaces which have lighting that is independent from the space itself by being suspended from the ceilings above the collective rental spaces. Moreover, the hall lights are set to turn off after a few minutes of inactivity "in the hall". If you are working in your space, you frequently find yourself in the dark trying to get back into the hallway to re-activate the lighting. This scenario creates very dangerous working conditions.”
