I always love coming to Rumors and I find great stuff here. The clothing items are reasonably priced and it’s always a fun environment. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and they run an amazing Instagram account for the place. It’s really cool to see the outfits that they put together. You have to stop by!

people there are super nice and it’s a super inclusive establishment!!they have pretty much every style and every size. i can always find something. i love donating and getting store credit and they’ll donate what they don’t keep :)

Went there to check out the place. I’m a size 10 pant and none of them fit me. They mark smaller sized pants higher. So I had to look at the actual tags and see they were all 4, 6, and 8. Plus I picked out two ratty t-shirts just bc they had my year of birth and they were $10. They should’ve been $3, most. Place is overpriced and not size inclusive at all. Plus their customer service was extremely lacking.

I ADORE Rumors!!! Whenever I come to Chapel Hill, I have to go there- and I always leave with an amazing new item!! Some of my favorite earrings, dresses, and sweaters have come from Rumors. And the staff is always so nice, too! 10/10 ✨

I wish they’d figure out a system for people selling clothes to stand in line prior to opening. There’s been numerous times I’ve watched girls who were some of the last to show up run up like a stampede of wild animals to the front of the group when the doors open. A lot of people show up far before opening to secure a spot, so some sort of a system would be appreciated. Otherwise, this is an average consignment shop for both purchasing and selling used clothing. Most of what is in the shop has been VERY worn in with a few items in very good condition.
