This past week I came in to return some foundation that didn't work for my skin. I have been trying to find a new foundation that works better for my needs. I came to Ulta and I was very lost as I was trying to find a new foundation to try.. and going through the painful journey of what color matches me. A consultant, Mariah came up to me asking if I needed assistance. She was so sweet, caring and willing to help. Mariah took the time to help suggest foundations for me and helped me get the right color. She also gave me tips and pointers with applying my makeup. I left with a new primer, foundation and mascara. I appreciate her coming up to me asking if I needed help rather than me chase someone or creepily follow someone to ask for help. Mariah is amazing and makes me want to come back to the store for future purchases.

I guess this place is okay. I came in to get a specific moisturizer since Nordstom is gone. I didn't find what I was looking for, but left with a new one that I like and it's animal testing free. There were a couple of people walking the floors to help find stuff or give advice or something. Would come again for moisturizer. Maybe makeup.

Place to go for poor customer service and stuck up girls with excessive amounts of makeup on. Better to order online and can probably find lower prices.

Think Robert Palmer's music video for his song "Addicted to Love." If you're not old enough to remember it, boo hoo- look it up. And you will get the picture of the service here. An excessive number of automaton girls wearing way too much makeup, but minus the creative energy (depicted in the video). I had to break up a personal conversation between two of them who were holding up the counter behind the cash register, just so one of them could ring up my 73 dollar order for 3 items. I must admit, this store is bright and clean and has the stock. Sephora should take notice. But my computer is more genuine than the girls working here, so I will continue to order my Clinique online. And, mind you- I don't have pay for a bag. I will get free shipping with a free box. My money is very hard to come by. I did not feel at all appreciated here. It was a great music video, by the way. R.I.P. Robert Palmer.

The staff is always so sweet and helpful! They greet you as soon as you walk in! They are very good at helping you find anything you might be looking for abs always offer to check in the back for you too! I needed help picking a foundation that wouldn't show off my dry skin and one of the nice ladies there did a color match for me and found my perfect fit with a quickness! She also helped me find a perfect primer (without making me feel forced to buy it) despite me not even mentioning primer when I first talked to her! She really took the time to help me and that's my experience every single time I go in!

I was in the other day made an appointment for 4 days later I arrived at my appointment to wait 36 minutes. This is unsatisfactory to me since I had scheduled time. I was treated as if setting appointment was a total waste of my time. They give you a bottle of water and make you wait. They had me in the books but never bother to confirm my appointment. I refuse to return to that location, clearly they did a great job NOT making me feel special .. No pampering treatment here folks.

EVERY single time I go into the Ulta, the mall security is called in. I'm not exaggerating it's EVVRRY TIME. I am a small 21 year old girl who is obsessed with makeup. Tell me why the mall cop is called in every time I walk in? When nobody else is in the store? I've spent thousands of my own dollars at ulta and Sephora and I'm treated like CRAP. It's not fair I see customers being helped and walked thru the store and I don't even get greeted. It sucks having such a big passion for something and not even really feeling comfortable looking around beauty stores because I'm being watched like a hawk. I would never steal. It breaks my heart I'm seen that way.

Had an appointment today with Yemisi for 6pm. Arrived at 5:55pm and was told it'd be another 15 minutes before she was ready.. cool. I'll go sit and wait.. fast forward to 6:45pm and still sitting there waiting and not a word from my stylist that I had an appointment with.. someone else actually came to check on me and I was like yea, can you see how much longer it's going to be because I'm about to leave. She went and asked and she said it'd be another 5 minutes.. so I wait some more.. 8 minutes later still waiting and not a word from her.. not an apology or asking me to reschedule or trying to multitask.. nothing. Super unprofessional and horrible customer service. Very disappointed and they just completely lost my business.

The awkwardest appointment ever. You could tell the girl doesn't enjoy her job. I probably wouldn't go back to the salon but the girls who work outside of the salon are great!

I went in for a balayage. I needed an update to my very warm brassy hair. Mona hooked me up! I changed my mind several times during our initial consultation and she was very flexible and helpful. I couldn't be happier with my results. It's perfect.

Seriously , my 2 Asian girlfriends were in there tonight wanting to get their brow waxed at the benefits brow bar , someone was giving a customer a makeover so my girlfriends just waited around then when she was done with a makeover, she didn't help my 2 Asian Girlfriends But instead started to help other customers instead . ulta .. you are in the leading pack in customer service but this Ulta's fell to live up to their standard , we are disappointed!

I had gone in for new foundation since my skin tone has changed over the year. Took a while to find the right shade, but thanks to Kayla, we found one! She was very kind, patient, and so helpful. When I had checked out, I was also purchasing a eyelash glue, and the cashier recommended a better one and grabbed it for me. I'm excited to try it out. I didn't get her name though. :/

My friend and I were there for about an hour and a half. We were both getting weird vibes from the employees because they kept hovering over us making it seemed like we were shoplifting. I was the only Alaskan Native. They were only watching the both of us and no one else. Was it because the color of our skins? They kept giving us weird looks when we were checking out too. We bought everything we gathered, how can we be stupid enough to shoplift if we have money in our bank account? I don't think I'll ever shop at that ulta again.
