idk what's wrong with this place but they only seem to have premium gas here??? all the buttons were taken off the other pumps - apparently the gas is bad too.

For a gas station that’s in an urban,
high populated area, it couldn’t be a more dysfunctional and pathetic place to gas up or purchase items. I couldn’t even deposit paper money into my Cash App. It’s an official location to do so, but the clerk simply said, “nah, we don’t do that here, man.” Good grief.

AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OVER 800$ on car repair (Read the whole review first)
This is, what this gas station seems to call "regular gas" (check the picture). It's basically half some mystery substance that neither I nor the mechanic could figure out, and it looks like some orange soda pop.
We were low on gas and decided to fill up completely at this station (spent over $50). Soon after, our car started acting up (not accelerating properly or accelerating strangely). We had to get it towed (luckily I'm a AAA member), and the AAA repair shop in Durham found this junk in our tank! Cost to fix: over $800!!!
The craziest part of this whole ordeal was when I confronted the person at the counter. They seemed just as frustrated with the company and admitted that this had happened to someone else recently. They even said they posted a note at the counter warning about the bad gas quality (Seriously? What about the 90% who pay at the pump?). They know the gas recently was garbage but claimed the company won't pay for repairs — they didn't for the other person either!
It was the strangest conversation of my life! I genuinely hope that person finds a better job soon. I'm going to try everything I can to get CirkleK to reimburse my repair costs!
If you've had similar issues lately, please reach out! I found out when calling them that they refilled the tanks shortly after we fueled up, so most people might be lucky, but we got all the gunk from the bottom - and there might be others. Fueling up here seems like a total gamble!
I will post an update if we get reimbursed or not! The case is 100% clear because we filled up completly and have a sample. So, I am positive!

Horrible environment. Music blasting, doorbell beeps as loud as a fire alarm. Also few beverage choices.

Every person that works here looks like they hate their job and wants to punch you in the face. I try to avoid going here and today was another reminder why. Terrible customer service. Hostile.

WATCH OUT: There is a deep pothole in the center of the parking lot when you first turn in. There is no notice of it and when it’s raining (not sure about clear skies visibility) it’s almost impossible to see/avoid and as I mentioned-it’s massively deep. Either patch it up or put something up to try and help your customers vehicles-fun fact: a pothole especially that size can knock your front end out of alignment or even pop a tire which is expensive and not worth the gas or anything else in that store that your customers may be stopping for. Please do something to help save the vehicles and in turn your customers wallets which translates in to PROFIT FOR YOUR STORE because that bill won’t be a thing they have to pay and instead, it can be spent at your store! Win-Win situation!

For the third day in a row I went to this circle k and the door was locked with a sign on the door indicating that staff would return in 10 mins. Reasonable I thought to myself on the first day but 3 days in a row at exactly the same time means perhaps circle k should amend its online schedule. Waiting outside tge door was a young man. Inside we could see who I later come to learn was the storemanger just kind of standing there. All of this I suppose could be forgiven. It was what happened next that lead me to make this post. After what was about a 14 minute wait a young lady in a red acircle k shirt walked up. And let us both in. The store manager who had been inside all along doing nothing greeted his late employee then looked at us and said "yall are lucky". The gentleman in front of me replied "for what"....and now all hello breaks lose. The store manager a white man clearly in his feelings about having to still be at work chose to condescending on myself, the gentleman in front of me, and the gentleman behind. When the younger gentleman corrected the manager by calling out the sheer lack of customer service the store managers response was to call the police instead of attempting at all to diffuse the situation or even hold his self accountable for the nature of the exchange in the first place.the gentleman infrint of me stood his ground as he should have but the storemanager was nothing short of rude a d too excited to call the police on a bla k MAn. I sat a d waited in the parking lot the police never came. But I was so bothered by the situation I decided to leave this post only to find one of the lowest ratings I've ever seen

I went into the store to get a cup of ice because I didn't want a bag. The machine already stated only ice so no soda was available. I was charged 95 cent for a cup of ice. No way does that make sense. 95 I could have got the soda with ice that was available that would have been the price. This store always don't have something or something don't work. Right off the highway it should be looked into seriously.

This gas station is convenient and easy to get to. Even though gas is high right now this was easy to get to. And I liked the set up of the pumps at this location.
