Couple things here.1. When will cvs do away with the nonsensical robot answering machine? It is painful. Give us customer service please. I hope EXECUTIVES are paying attention.2. When we reach a human after 25 minutes, they should actually “listen” and not argue.3. Pharmacists are overworked and cannot seem to find employees that give a damn.4. English should be a requirement for all employees answering the phone.5. Employees should know that chapel hill is in North Carolina

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but this place deserves it. Long waits, aggressively rude pharmacy staff (I feel sorry for the few that are nice), random religious prayers offered to me from staff, and what can only be purposeful misgendering of my teens. I truly hate everything about our healthcare system but this place really makes me sad.

Great crew here, who will go out of their way to help you if they can. People upset about their health insurance & doctors often take it out on the staff. Not fair.

Lady was rude who answered the phone and obviously didn’t want to do her job. How hard is it to fill a prescription which was already in process at another CVS but they were out of. Anyways I got it filled elsewhere with less the hassle. I would not recommend this location.

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. For the second or third time I am less than 2 days from being fully out of my medication with no refill in sight. Once they said there’s a “national shortage”, so I asked my doctor who replied that they had absolutely never heard such a thing. If you can - transfer your Rx to the CVS on fordham blvd. The staff was much nicer, wasn’t impacted by the “national shortage”, and actually refilled my prescription before I ran out!! This staff obviously needs some help.

*sigh* there's 30 minutes down the drain. I called into the pharmacy to have some questions answered. 7 minutes into waiting a staff member told me they would be with me shortly. I then proceeded to sit on hold for Twenty-three minutes. Didn't even get to asky question. Isn't the customer service lovely?The saving grace of this whole experience was that during my wait I got to read some of the other reviews! I highly recommend it. Grab a snack or something; some of these are quite entertaining (in a "I feel your pain" relatable type of way).

If I could give zero stars I would. At a time when there’s a ton of competitive pressure around pharmacies, CVS and specifically this store continues to show why mail order or virtually any other option would be better.

Terrible pharmacy staffed by rude and unprofessional people. Prescriptions that are "ready" never are actually ready. They will often tell you to "come back tomorrow" or "call back when it's not busy" or ultimately to transfer your prescription to a non-CVS pharmacy! The latter was the best suggestion they ever made. Save yourself the headaches and having to deal with the incompetence by going anyplace else!

The worst pharmacy in the triangle area by far! I'm pretty sure this is the location all the workers, who get too many complaints at other functional locations, are sent.

The new young Minute Clinic NP is a disingenuous automaton. I wish I knew when Ronda (?) was in, she can be grumpy (don’t blame her)—but she’s decent and caring. Also, this NP was almost 30 pts off on my systolic BP (I’m always between 95 and 120). I tested myself twice and got 107/65. Heart rate was too low also. She didn’t use an automatic cuff—her ears are off.

I would give five stars but they don't have enough staff. The staff are great and do their best but they are running. Wish they would hire some more people to help with wait times.

This is my go-to pharmacy. Have never had an issue in 8 years. Not sure why so many negative reviews -- that has not been my experience at all.

Do NOT go to this pharmacy unless you literally have no other option. I had so many issues with this pharmacy when we used to go to them - filing insurance under the completely wrong name, filing insurance incorrectly, losing authorization. We switched to 501 Pharmacy and have never had a problem but because 501 is small, occasionally they'll request CVS to fill it. It can never just be an easy process and the techs that work here are not helpful and do not know how to competently do their jobs. Avoid.
