“They called and apologized. I am appreciative of that. Still a bit shook up from the ordeal, but I am extremely satisfied that they took ownership of their mistake and apologize. I understand we can't change the past, but they did the right thing to move forward.If this review is still up it means the church has REFUSED to apologize for their driver almost killing my wife and I while driving home from vacation. They have NOT punished the driver for driving extremely recklessly either. For a church, this is unacceptable behavior. As a fellow Christian, I am appalled by this type of behavior.We posted the incident on their Facebook Page, but the administrator deleted the post. As if he's trying to cover up what the church has done. Well, I can't be silenced. If you try to run me off the road going 85mph, I am going to have my say!On 11/8/23, my wife and I were driving on 40 East when we were harassed by a Grace Life Church white Ford Van. SIX times they tried to cut me off and get in front of me. They were extremely aggressive and would get in the right lane and try to push my car (I was in the left lane) into the median so they could get in front of me. Again, this happened SIX times.I would look in my rear view after their failed attempts to bully me off the road and two men (one older, one younger) were laughing and giggling about what they had just done. I hope the church does the right thing and apologizes to my wife and I AND punishes the driver for their extremely hostile and belligerent behavior that almost caused my wife and I to be pushed off the highway going 85mph. DO BETTER.”

“Wonderful worship service! Amazing Baptism Service. I witnessed Pastor Tate speak into each one of their lives and it was like 25-30 souls. But he knew each one personally. This is a wonderful church. Great team of servers, ushers and workers all while smiling. We had CHURCH! So glad my niece is under his leadership. Pastor Tate and Lady Tee working their part of the Vineyard, Nice worship experience!”

“As a 10 year seminary student I would recommend this church. They are conservative. All though they are an IFB (independent fundamental Baptist) church they are NOT against Israel like some IFB churches can be. (Gen 12:3) They believe in a literal death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Christ. They believe in the five solas. The Chapel believes Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) They believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Tim 3:16) The Chapel believes in being born again. (John 3:5) They believe believers are justified judicially by God (Rom 8:33); mediately by faith (Rom 5:1); evidently by works (James 2:14). They believe in a literal hell and literal heaven. The Chapel believes in the Trinity. They believe in assurance of Salvation. (Rom 8:16; Acts 17:31; Col 2:2; I Thes 1:5; Heb 6:11; 10:22) This church is neither charismatic nor legalistic. The Chapel is neither Calvinist nor Armininian. Pastor Joyner is engaging, social, prepared, planned, driven, a teacher, preacher, a dynamic speaker, respectful, a good husband, and my friend. If you want to learn more about Jesus, I would highly recommend you give The Chapel Hill Baptist Church a try. Coffee and tea is available at each service.”

After speaking with a friend about a project I'm working on she mentioned something similar being done at this church where she is an active member. From what I saw and read on the church's website about this church I'm encouraged.”

“A true Baptist church located at east chapel hill high. They always make new comers feel welcome. They offer child care and it is a truely bible based sunday school. If y o u have kids talk to blair he is a person here on earth to serve and will do just about anything for you. Eric and aj are also two amazing people that will always welcome anybody with open arms. All in all a great place to worship on your sunday morning.”
