Favorite parts are the knowledgable, kind, and helpful staff and the free tire air fills.
$80 to diagnose a car issue though!? No thank you, other places do that for free.
Also, the up charge on parts (for a toyota camry) is astronomical… plus the labor fees. And don’t try to buy your own parts for them to use, they will up charge the labor fees so that the total price for fixing your car (NOT including the parts you purchased separately) is more than if you used their parts in the first place. Heartbreaking to learn, and made me lose so much respect for the business.

Wonderful experience as always. I stopped in with a nearly flat tire and they ordered a new one and replaced it within two days.

I was with them many times, but decided to leave as they did not do a good job at all in diagnosis the issue. They charges me the part of diagnosis and state inspection even though the car has a serious issue. I brought it to another technician and replace exactly what they told, but eventually it did not solve the problem. Instead of replacing a hybrid coolant pump they wrote to replace the hybrid water pump, leading to a double charge of repairing my car. This is a very expensive lesson for me where I have to pay for a lot. I think you should think about using there services.

I bought a new set of tires here. Even though I had been warned about their rampant upcharging and shady practices, I still go here for oil changes and tire rotations because it’s convenient to my work and I’m under warranty. However, the last time I got an oil change, my tire pressure monitoring system light turned on as soon as I picked my car up (also, they documented my mileage incorrectly on the receipt and window card… all different numbers). Second opinion at a local shop states the sensor is busted. Chapel Hill Tire won’t replace it. Fine, I’m over it but we called two separate CH Tire locations which both quoted us different prices for the sensor, all of which were more expensive than the other quotes we received. I would love to use Chapel Hill Tire but have been burned too many times. I’ll take the inconvenience of a shop further from home/work if it means customer service and integrity.
They also told us my husband needed a new serpentine belt. Bought the part ourselves and did the work with a family friend - the belt was fine.
They will not cover the cost of diagnostics if you do service with them.
I would highly recommend AutoLogic, Sander’s or Brown’s.

I went in looking for a ‘not so usual’ tire and CHT had it in the warehouse. They were able to get it in by the next morning and replace the bad one right away. They made a valiant effort to keep my family safe and on track to leave for a trip as planned. I was at work until after they closed. I was sent a link to pay seamlessly and allow my daughter to pick it up. Thank you for your professionalism and efficiency!

Brad Morris was great to work with. He let us know what the issue with AC on our Ford F450 before ordering the parts. Our repair was completed in one day. We felt the cost of the repair was fair and reasonable.
