My car engine was running rough. A local auto parts store diagnosed the check engine light as being triggered by a cylinder 1 misfire. I took it to Chapel Hill Tire-Franklin St. to diagnose and fix the problem. After changing out all of the spark plugs and wires ($650), the problem was no better and the engine was still running just as rough as before. They then said the next step would be to change out all of the fuel injectors (probably close to $1000). I declined. My hope in having a professional diagnose the problem would be that they would arrive at the correct diagnosis and treatment the first time, which was unfortunately not the case here. If I wanted to just replace things one step at a time until the problem was solved, I could have done that on my own--and perhaps saved $650. All that said, the customer communication was very prompt and professional. I just wish that their technical expertise matched their communication expertise.

Huge thank you to chapel hill tire for helping me this morning! And I wanna give a shout out to Matt, he took care of my battery that had died first thing in the morning very quickly and was able to explain it all so I understood what was happening. Thank you chapel hill tire for everything!

There is a reason you saw so many nice reviews here, they literally saved my day. I was on a road trip and passing Chapel Hill when a bolt that holds the cover under the engine bay fell off and caused the cover dangling when driving. They did a quick fix free of charge when other shops refused to fix it or charged me an arm and leg. Man... those people are awesome.

Car was badly damaged while parked at the service center. Another customer ran into my Tesla while there, okay stuff happens… but when I went to pick it up all I got was a frown and a sorry and a copy if the police report….my car was undriveable because of the airbag alarm from the passager side damage so I had to deal with insurance, get car to body shop, and tracking down a rental car for the next six hours …you would think at least some sort of percentage off next service, free car wash, or something… I took my tesla there in perfect condition, paid $2k for 4 tires, and I wont see my car for 2 months because the side of it was crushed …
No thank you, I cant go back!

I let them talk me into having them replace my serpentine belt, only to have the new one snap 3k miles later

Trevor took great care of the car and me. Had a sudden flat tire 3mi away. Never been to this location before. Worked me in super fast, got me back on the road. Super professional. I’d give 6 stars if i could.
