Convenient to Chapel Hill and the highways to Durham and Raleigh. A bit of a challenge to get in and out due to access from the road. The hotel has been completely redone so the upgrades to the lobbies and rooms are nice.Staying on the 2nd floor we experienced a really loud mechanical noise and it was challenging to get management to explain or compensate. We were there for an event weekend so the rates were definitely high. Not sure I can truly comment on value. The club room and complimentary breakfast/snacks were a bonus.

Very quiet where the rooms were which was nice. The food downstairs at the bistro was top notch it was so worth it. I couldn't get one of my lamps to work in the room and the room was a bit small for my liking but it was still nice and up to date. The bathroom was roomy, the mirror was a nice touch.Rooms: The rooms had up to date amenities super clean and in good condition.Food & drinks: Amazing food!!!!

This is an exceptional hotel. Modern, updated, tons of amenities, great staff, and clean, beautiful rooms. As someone who travels a TON for work, I’ve seen all kinds of hotel rooms - this was a great place to stay. Some of the best things about this hotel were the standing desk in my room, the adjustable touch screen vanity mirror, the beautiful patio terrace and balcony access, and in the lobby they have PLENTY of seating and even have privacy rooms you can step into for calls. My plans ended up changing so I had to work from the hotel for the day. Once I checked out I was able to come to the lobby and work in a privacy room and attend virtual meetings for free. The hotel also has a great fitness center, pools, a Starbucks, and seems to have some big conference rooms too. Highly highly recommend!!.

We were originally booked and had paid for a room at the Holiday Inn Express but an error allowed them to overbook rooms so they sent us to the Sheraton instead. When we checked in we were told we would have access to the lounge where free breakfast was offered as breakfast was part of our stay at the Holiday Inn. This morning we were denied that access and told it was only for platinum members after I explained we were specifically told we had access at check in. Normally I wouldn’t complain in a review but the way the front desk staff spoke to us rubbed me the wrong way. We also didn’t have a remote for the TV which we didn’t discover until we returned to our room at 1am, luckily we didn’t have time to watch TV as we were only here for the Duke vs Notre Dame game.

I had terrible customer service from the front desk manager Renne. I called from the room because I was having an issue with my tv. I called twice and no one answered the phone. I then called from my cell phone and after ringing for a very long time Renne finally answered. I immediately addressed the fact that I hadn’t been able to reach them. She proceeded to make excuses and say they only had one person working the front desk and she had stepped away. I asked her how is it that my problem, that’s a staffing issue that needs to be taken care of on their end. I expect to be able to talk to the front desk staff if I have an issue. She never once apologized just gave an excuse. I told her about the issue with my tv. She asked my what channels weren’t working. I told her it’s not my job to go through checking all the channels. I asked her to send up an engineer. She gave me another excuse. She informed me that they didn’t have any engineers working at the time. Once again, that’s a staffing issue. There should always be someone available in case there’s an issue. She then told me that I was there with a group (I’m fully aware) I’m the key note speaker. I told her that’s irrelevant to the issue. I was about to tell her that I was a gold member but she hung the phone up in my face. I proceeded downstairs and calmly asked her to give me her name so I could report her behavior. She proceeded to take her name take off. I asked to speak to the hotel manager. When she called him she said, “There’s a young man down here that needs to speak to you.” I said, young man? I’m 48 years old. I’m not a young man. The proper thing to say is a “guest”. It’s an insult to a grown man to be called a young man. When I spoke to the manager Jose Morales he wasn’t helpful at all. I told him I needed her name to file a complaint. He wouldn’t give me her name. I’ve been a loyal Marriott (Now Bonvoy) guest for 30 years. I travel for a living. I have never been so dismissed and disrespected. She obviously needs to be retrained. I had the conference host come down and he observed the terrible customer service first hand. He took it from there. I expect excellence not excuses. If you don’t have the staff to properly run a hotel and take care of the guest then maybe you shouldn’t be open.I got an answer back from the hotel as follows: Good afternoon,I would like to thank you for your stay, and also acknowledge the fact that we have spoken to the front desk staff about providing great customer service. We are also trying to get staffed so that these things do not reoccur in the future. While we strive to have great customer service we are still getting the correct staff in house. We hope that if you are ever in the area again you give us the opportunity to WOW you with a great customer service experience. Here’s the problem for me. If you don’t have the staff then why are you running a hotel? If you want to WOW me as you say, then get the staff so I don’t have these problems in the first place. Furthermore, I would never go back to that hotel after my experience with the management. If you want to wow someone offer them compensation for your failures.Rooms: The room was nice, however the tv continually malfunctioned and there wasn’t an engineer on duty. So there you go! Of course when I enquired about one I was given an excuse about not having the staff (NOT MY PROBLEM) and then I was hung up on by the front desk manager Renne.

So this review isn’t so much about the hotel but housekeeping. I applied for a daytime housekeeping position and No one told me that I’d be having to learn a whole different foreign language in order to communicate with my coworkers and learn what I had to do. This made it really hard to do the simplest things because I’m american and don’t speak spanish. Someone should make this a talking point during interviews.

If you want to watch ESPN, you are out of luck as this hotel does not carry those channels.First call to front desk... "please hold"...five minutes later no answer.Called back second time....no answer.Called back third time was told they don't carry ESPN. When I said I was very disappointed I got hung up on.That night it got cold. Was told "boiler was being worked on". Are we getting steam heat using 1900 technology?.Review from 6 days prior and they had same problem.Toilet seat not on straight.I feel like I am paying sheraton priced and getting Motel 6 quality.Very disappointed.

Super cold!!! Some rooms had broken ac. Service downstairs at the restaurant/bar was slow. Nice facilities. Confusing floor plan. All views are brick walls or parking lot.

When we arrived to the room, it smelled like someone had just pooped in the bathroom. And that smell never went away. I found hair on the towels and in the bathroom sink. I just let those things go in my mind bc it happens. But then when we woke up the next morning, there were 2 large cockroaches. 1 on the curtain and 1 on the floor by the table where my son was eating breakfast. Nope. Place grossed me out. Will not be staying there again.

The customer service was superb!! The Valets greeted us with a high level of professionalism in both our coming and going. When requesting an extra blanket at check-in, it was delivered to our room smelling clean and fresh by management. The housekeeper on duty the day we checked out was very kind. She was intentional in speaking and asking if we needed anything or if our stay had concluded. This was a good experience. We look forward to visiting again.

First time staying at this hotel. We booked online and we were not really sure of the hotel location. Great location and beautiful hotel. Service was great. Hotel common areas as well as our room were very nice. We were only there for a short visit so we did not use the pool or visit the restaurant, but both seemed very nice. We will definitely stay there again when in the area. Great value for the quality and service!Rooms: Smaller compact rooms, but very space efficient layout. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean.Nearby activities: Lots of great restaurants nearby and very close to UNC campus without being in the middle of everything.

It's a nice place to stay when you don't want to be on the road early, leaving Fayetteville . At least I got some shut eye

The hotel is newly renovated. The lounge is nice and clean. This hotel has great potential, but it could use some improvements in the guest experience aspect. Let me explain. During check in, we had a room with lounge access. It would save a phone call if the check in staff would make us aware of the lounge location and hours. We had to call to find out. Upon entering our room, we discovered that the AC was not working in the living room and there was an opened bottle of water in the bedroom. We call the front desk and engineer fixed it while we left our room.Thumbs up to the GM for including actual one bed room suites for SNA requests. I have seen too many properties that only offers junior suites or bigger rooms as options. I also want to mention that Erica was super friendly. She greeted us every time we interacted. Despite the issues, which I believe could definitely be fixed with more communication, this was a wonderful stay.

Overall a nice stay. Plenty of parking. Mcd's next door and Wegmans within walking distance or about a 1 min drive. A little pricey but to be expected in regards to it's location, and it cost more also cause of the brand.

Went to a convention there. If you park around back you will walk a distance to the front, so wesr flat shoes. The renovations are great! The bar didn't have martini glasses or what was needed for a basic drink but the bartender was nice ☺
