“Big Spoon Roasters are my go-to connection for nut butters. The quality is superior. My cupboard is stocked with the fundamentals such as crunchy peanut and almond butter, to the delightful and unique combos such as peanut pecan, Fiji ginger, and pistachio almond, to name just few. I appreciate the creativity, care, and attention that is put into creating the nut butters. I also enjoy the periodic limited batch offerings such as the bourbon pecan and the Cowgirl cookie. I can't say enough good things about Big Spoon Roasters. Ultimately, you just need to try them for yourself. They are worth every penny.”

“It’s an old country store that’s been around since the 60s so of course it’s kind of “set in its ways” but I guarantee you that it is a quick in and out if you need drinks or cigarettes or maybe a quick candy bar although the selection isn’t as grand as some of the commercial businesses as this is a family owned store and they have to outsource their own products-They used to sell gas back many years ago but from 18 wheelers pulling into the parking lot put so much pressure on the ground overtime that it caused problems with the gas tanks underground and they eventually had to be removed!Overall it’s a good little store! Friendly people that work there as well as the manager is a nice Mother!”

“The cheese cake was WOW!...the service is world class. The owners go the extra to make sure you have a great shopping experience. I would suggest that you stop, wrap a tasty treat. They are right off hwy70, very convenient to Hillsborough. They bake fresh daily, the quality of the food is of the highest. Please go by and say hello.”

“This place is the absolute jam. I love Los Lagos and go there literally every other day. Spices? They got everything and way cheaper and you get more of it. Beans? Fresh tortillas? Salsas? AMAZING CHEESE? The best chorizo you could possibly get? They have it all. Literally, this place single handedly opened my eyes to a whole new world of cuisine and cooking. Marinades, drinks, amazing chips homemade AND store bought. Just awesome. Every corner needs a place this amazing!”
“Nice staff. Store is smaller of 2 in Hillsborough but quick to respond to online orders. The prices are good if you pay attention to specials, coupons and rewards. Doesn't have every item in larger store but quick in and out.”

“So here goes my opinion, first of all the manager Stephanie what can I say.. I absolutely love her, she is an amazing person. the store used to be so bad to the point you could not get through any aisle from junk, trash etc.
when she came in she cleaned that store up. I really enjoy conversating with her when I'm there I enjoy all the other workers too they are sweet and really kind.
but Stephanie really improved that store! but there's only so much one person can do as for the outside, I have already defended her on this to customers that have complained about the trash outside and this comes from customers that have a lack of respect for anything or anyone I have literally watched a man change the oil in his car and throw the oil containers in the parking lot, they're throwing tires dirty diapers drink cans you name it it's out there because of customers and they have tried to clean it up but there's so much one person can do while working inside the store usually there's only one or two people working at a shift people were just throwing their house trash in the dumpsters people really lack self-respect anymore but as for this store it is my favorite store because of the people. Trust me when I say if you go here you will feel welcomed very much, Stephanie you rock girl!!”

“Have always loved stopping at this store when in Hillsborough. Yes it's convenient gas but three store itself is amazing! You can find foreign snack foods you will not find anywhere else these aren't even Americanized three nutrition facts are in metric units four God's sake lol it's pretty crazy you can always find neat little things here as well not your run of the mill convenience store once I even bought some amazing Egyptian cotton king size bedsheets here and still use them ten years later they're AWESOME! Check it out next time you're over that way...”

“My favorite dollar general always open unless running short staffed and that is because management is expected to work free hours just to please the higher up ppl. I know because I use to work in management and until things change it will continue to be this way. I absolutely don’t blame any of the employees for not wanting to kill themselves for a corporation! “This location is small on the inside and very cluttered. Every time I am here it's cluttered. You can find anything here. Food, house products, toys, cleaning supplies and more. They now offer self checkout witch allows for the lines to move fast.”
“Not enough physical workers at the checkout lines. However, now that I’ve added Walmart + and can scan my items when I put them in my cart and pay for my cart before I just walk out, I’m a huge fan of Walmart.”

“This is a fairly new DG store. Ample parking and the shelves are well stocked. They have lots of backed to school last minute items and a nice display of greeting carfs for every occasion. I really like this store. They also have clean, stocked restrooms and thats a plus during Covid.”
