VA Maria & Dr. Robinson took great care of my doggie Sevyn and helping us get a plan set up for her to get her back to her normal self. All while helping as best they could to stay under my budget Thank you both so much!

Unfortunately I took my 3 year old husky for check up and flea medication. I was concerned that she may be pregnant so they took an expensive xray and stated that it didn't appear that she was pregnant and then they prescribed oral flea medication per my request as the collar option doesn't work. Long story short, she was 5 and a half weeks pregnant and not even 3 weeks later she gave Birth to 8 Siberian Husky Puppies. 3 of the 8 came out with oversized heads and definitely noticeable that there's something really wrong.
When I went in and spoke with them, they stated that they were not sure if she was indeed pregnant or not because usually they see bones. It's clear she had 8 sacks in the xray and they pretty much told me I'm sol, and to look up dog rescues to drop off the Puppies. It breaks my heart the lack of compassion and the fact that they were more worried about covering their ground from a legal aspect.
My recommendation is to definitely do your due diligence on who you decide to trust with family fur babies.

Can’t give you any kind of price estimate over the phone for something as simple as an ear infection. Want you to make an appointment and only give you pricing once you’re in the door. $65 exam fee base, this is not an affordable vet service.

Have been to the Cary location a few times for both our cats and dogs. Recently went for several issues with our aging dog. They did a biopsy and couldn't be sure the lab would take it due to the long weekend so we were not charged. This is understandable. We then got a call that they indeed could take it so we would be charged. Also fine. What is not fine is that they would not send it to the lab before payment and required in house payment stating they couldn't do it over the phone or online. A large chain of clinics that don't do phone/online payments in 2024? Maybe it's time to join the 21st century. So now my husband has to take time off work to drive and pay in person. In the medical profession (I am a nurse) we call this delay of care and neglect. We will be closing our account, taking our records, and finding a local vet that is not a chain/corporation.

Have been bringing my fourleggeds here since it was Thrive. Wasn’t exactly thrilled with the changes to Vetco and the loss of a couple of really great docs (Dr Waltz and Dr Maloney we’re amazing!). However, I have to rave about Dr Jordan and the nurses because they are PHENOMENAL! The nurses, especially Kevin, are always gentle and caring with my fur babies. Dr Jordan is A+! She is thorough, compassionate, and truly cares about the health and wellness of our pets. Dr Jordan encompasses the heart of veterinary care.

I've been going to this vet for about 2 years. I've had varied experiences (some good ones!) but more recently im not impressed. One vet gave me a sheet ranking my dogs anxiety at the vet and was close recommending medication for her vet visits. Keep in mind my dog does fine at the vet and is oftentimes excited to be there maybe a little nervous but no concerned behavior.I never get the same vet. Seems to be high turnover in vet and technician staff. The fact that a call center is used may be the line in the sand for me. Call to ask a generic question about when to bring my puppy in, get told I need to do an appointment then the vet will go over what needs done when. I don't want an appointment to cover when I should need my next appointment. Also the actual vet called back about a sample today saying that we'd need medication due to a positive result. Try to call back and the call center attempts to get the office on the line says they're too busy and I'll get a call back in 24 hours. My vet back home would call me back within the day especially if I called before lunch.

I went to this Vetco several times so far for my cat’s itch/allergy and cyst issues, because the previous vet clinic couldn’t solve them. I met with Dr Jordan and Dr Reyes, both of them are very professional and friendly, they spent the time with me to listen and explain the treatment plan. They successfully treated the problems after each visit, and I am very happy with the results. The staff are also very nice and helpful too. This is the vet clinic that truly cares about your pet!
