A Nightmare Experience: Incompetence and Frustration at Triangle Vision optometry 516 optical lane Cary 27513My recent ordeal with Triangle Vision optometry has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my deeply unsatisfactory experience. From start to finish, the level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by the staff has been shocking.To begin with, I arrived early for my eye appointment, scheduled two months in advance, only to be pushed back in line when another customer, who had missed their morning appointment, was allowed to go ahead of me. This unexpected delay set the tone for what would become a series of frustrating events.Upon picking up my glasses with new prescription lenses, I soon discovered one of the lenses was blurry. I promptly contacted the office and returned, hoping for a swift resolution. Instead, the technician attempted to attribute the blurriness to a fitting issue by twisting my expensive frames. When that proved unsuccessful, she went on to insist that my discomfort was due to me not being accustomed to progressive lenses.Upon my insistence, they rechecked my eyes, only to discover that the initial prescription was incomplete, missing crucial numbers. They agreed to remake the lenses but not without making me sign a disclaimer absolving them of responsibility in case my frames were lost during the process – a disconcerting practice.Weeks dragged on with no sign of my glasses, and after a grueling two and a half months, they finally arrived. To my disbelief, the lenses were still blurry. When I requested my prescription, the technician handed me a printout displaying the original incorrect prescription that had been the root of the problem all along, I just shook my head and walked out.This entire experience at Triangle Vision optometry has left me appalled and utterly dissatisfied. The staff's lack of attention to detail, reluctance to take responsibility for their mistakes, and the disregard for customer time is unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering this establishment for their eye care needs to think twice, as my ordeal serves as a testament to the utter lack of professionalism and competency at Triangle Vision optometry 516 optical lane Cary 27513.

If I could give them more stars, I would. The doctor is amazing, and so personable and kind. That gentleman who does the settings and teaches you how to put contacts is the most patient human being there is. He spend a couple of hours with my son, teaching him how to put them in , not once did he get frustrated or flustered. He always had positive reinforcement for him, even if he was doing something wrong. Thank you thank you. Now my son has contacts!!!

This was my first time at Triangle Visions Optometry and everyone there was great and super nice. I loved it there and I usually hate the eye doctor! 10/10

Dr. Canting has been the MOST incredible eye doctor I could have imagined. He has seen me since I was 7 years old, and I cried in his office when he told me he was retiring! Even though he will be gone, I cannot recommend this office more. The staff always go out of their way and truly feel like family.

Went here in emergency with something in my eye Dr supposedly removed it. I went home still in pain and looked in mirror and could visibly see the object. Unhappy with the care I received from the doctor.

I think they do a great job as optometrists, but recently I can't seem to reach them on the phone for scheduling. After I connect, I get automatically transferred to the operator, who hangs up after 10 or so rings. This can go over several retries. Also--they add a surcharge for use of a credit card. Be prepared for a 3% upcharge to your bill if you need to use a card.

I have been a customer last 8 years Dr use sold the practice unfortunately A few weeks ago I went to the office for a new prescription The frame was overcharged $30 and I used to get my glasses in two weeks I am still waiting They used to charge half cost with credit card I was told that I have pay cash since they don’t accept credit card. I am very disappointed and still waiting overcharged glasses which I paid upfront $570 I would not recommend this place at all.

When I moved to Cary, NC in 2001, I thought it was going to be very difficult to find an eye doctor. From day one in visiting Dr.Canting’s office, I felt the warmth from his entire staff. Dr.Canting is one of a kind. He is the only doctor that I will allow to look into my eyes. He is fun, professional, thorough and explains everything in detail. I have since moved to North Durham and will continue to travel to see Dr. Canting.Thank you Dr. Canting for being such an awesome optometrist and person.

After 10 plus years of seeing Dr. Canting, I have decided to find another doctor simply because of the change in management, Triangle Visions has taken over Canting Optometry and the place is now run like a chain. This place is all about making money and has no empathy for patients anymore. The manager and staff are rude and obnoxious and don't provide any good care and value. Management is not accommodating and show's absolutely no care for the patients.

We want Marcia and her staff to know how much my husband and I appreciate the excellent service and professionalism we have always found at Cary Optometrics. After a thorough vision exam, during which our past medical history and current needs were considered, we enjoyed selecting our new eyewear and finding just the right fit for each of us. Staff was quick and helpful. The doctor himself was the best doctor I’ve ever personally dealt with. Solid team and will go back to them anytime I need anything with my eyes.
