I’d give it 1 star if it wasn’t for the 1 nice person that helped me out of the 8 sales associates there. I’m from out of state and needed a few items for my stay. Walked in and wasn’t greeted just got stared at but the customers that came in shortly after were greeted with a bubbly smile. Asked where a few items were and each person asked just sounded annoyed so I just figured I’d walk around to find things myself. After a while, I was approached by a sales associate that just walked in the door. Very polite and kind. I wish I had gotten her name. Caucasian and blonde/brown hair.

Truth be told, I've never had a great in person experience at Ulta. I searched online for items I was looking for before going to the store that said they had in stock. I arrived and while I was greeted by a friendly sales clerk, nothing I was looking for was in stock. Some of the shelves were unorganized and a mess. Maybe it had been a busy day, but this is the third time with this location and similar results. Usually I order online, and likely should have again, but I needed something sooner and assumed I'd find in the store since it was listed as in stock. Additionally, maybe it's just this location, but I've never felt as if I fit the "clientele" that they want to serve. I won't give it low stores because I did find some things and two of the associates were nice, but I hope my next experience is better as I do love their variety of products.

Was there yesterday on a mission to rescue my skin that was freaking out over makeup I'd worn. Julia was super helpful and friendly as she presented some skincare products. I took most of them home and my skin is already feeling some relief on its journey back to normalcy. Thank you, Julia!!

I visited this Ulta location today to look for a few essentials and walked out with a whole skin care routine. Big kudos to Chris and Christina for taking the time to understand my skin and provide recommendations for products that would work well for me. They truly went above and beyond and had a wealth of knowledge about skin care products. I would highly recommend visiting and chatting with one/both of them if you have any uncertainty about skin care.
Also, the store itself was very clean, well stocked and organized. All other associates were helpful and friendly as well!

I realize I have been gate keeping my hair secret but after three years of nothing but amazing hair every single time, I have to give Rochelle a shout out. My hair is extremely hard to color and is very thick but she recreates every picture I show her. Rochelle is a rare talent and i am so glad I found her!

I had an appointment scheduled for today to have a quick trim and style before photos for the front of a neighborhood magazine. I received a call less than two hours before my appointment that the stylist was not feeling well and they needed to reschedule my appointment to a different day. I could not reschedule because of the nature of the photos. When I called back to speak to the manager to see if there was anyone else that could reschedule so that I could take their slot, she refused to check to see if that was possible.
I get things happen. I am VERY glad the girl did not cut my hair if she’s feeling bad. I find it hard to believe that everyone that was scheduled today had an event that could not be postponed. And then, if by some miracle, that did happen, the manager should have called me back saying they tried everything they could and offer a way to make it right otherwise. They just threw their hands up and said there was nothing they would do. She suggested i call the Morrisville store. I live closest to there and only called the Crossroads store because Morrisville was already booked when i was scheduling. This was also at 9am when the store doesnt answer their phone so i couldnt check on this myself. As the manager, she should have called over there for me since she can contact them after hours, and she should have asked them to do the same - check to see if anyone else could reschedule so i could have their slot.
i hope Summer feels better and I hope she is blessed with better management soon.

After visiting Holly Springs ULTA, with the manager and staff not willing to help, keeping me waiting and just unfriendly I left and thought I would just order from Amazon, wait two days and pay less. On a hunch, I dropped into Crossroads ULTA. The staff, Ashley and Rosha were so friendly professional and quick to help that I was done in less than 14 minutes. In this day and age customer service is so important. I will never to any other ULTA. Great Job ladies at Crossroads ULTA I so appreciate you both.
