I started working out with Aaron almost 2 years ago and I've seen a difference in many ways. One of the things I like best about him is that he takes into account what's going on with you that day. Whether it's energy level, tiredness, muscle soreness, overall aches and pains, etc. He doesn't just come in with his plan, but adjusts to what your body needs that day as well. I enjoy my workouts and the accountability keeps me on track. I would highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Aaron! I have been working with him for about 6 months now. I have never been comfortable at the gym; and when I did, I did not see much progress. In addition to helping me decrease my back and hip pain, Aaron has helped me increase my strength, and I’m starting to get comfortable at the gym. He is very knowledge and flexible, even adjusting as the workout progresses if needed. If you hate the gym but would like not too, I encourage you to give training with Aaron a try!

I have been working with Aaron for 2.5 years. Aaron is always professional and takes his work seriously. He is exactly what you want in a trainer; he is diligent and pays exquisite attention to form (knows when you are done or can keep going) so you know you will get the best possible workout with minimal risk of injury, has a thorough understanding of human physiology and is able to easily adapt to any necessary modifications.

I started working out with Aaron a month back. He has a very systematic approach to workouts and I am able to feel the difference in my body in this short period. He understands your limits and helps to challenge them. I would highly recommend him.

Make sure you keep your contract handy. On 2 different occasions I was advised that my contract had expired when there was still 9 months remaining.

Avoid this location. The manager is horrible. Customer service is non existent. Member concerns are shrugged off. If you like to be treated rudely you might like it.

Great gym. I worked out here for a few years till I had to move for my husband's new job. Love the facility & the people who worked there. Solid workouts are had here.

I have been working out daily around the world for close to 20 years and this place is just about average. I have worked at gyms before as well as had my own large personal training business so I have a pretty good knowledge of gym business, tactics, and what to expect. When I came here with my girlfriend to check it out the sales rep was pretty good. Cedric was his name. I never saw him after we signed up, but he was pretty good and didn't resort to any over promises. He gave us what ended up being an okay deal so we took it because the gym was walking distance from our place. $40 bucks a month with a $25 dollar sign up fee. The sign up fee was low, but the monthly fee for this type of gym is high. Golds, Retro, and others will beat this price all the time. The only special thing this location has over those others is the pool. The front desk attendants are very nice and personable. My favorite would be Savannah who was just so nice every time I came in. The equipment is a mix of new and old. They just got new dumbbells, but they were definitely missing some gym equipment or they had brands that are not as good as others. This is a preference for sure, but worth mentioning. The biggest negative for me about the gym was the trainers. One trainer in particular was a jerk to me all the time. It almost seemed like he was trying to go out of his way to be in my way or to interrupt my workouts. In addition the trainers were constantly on their phones or in conversation with their clients. If you sign up for an hour session and you talk 30 minutes of your session or 5 minutes in between sets then your trainer isn't good. On the other hand I have been to the location in Wilmington and Northwest Raleigh and they are pretty good.

By far the worst gym I've dealt with. I have traveled and worked out at quite a few gyms across the us but this organization has no care for the members and only cares about the bottom line. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I usually don't even take the time to leave a review but this company frustrated me so much that I did not anyone else to go through what I did.

Possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I went there in the afternoon for a work-out and the music just blared! Seriously, it was at an unhealthy level. I spoke to the manager who not only did not lower the volume, but insinuated that that's what customers wanted and he had to cater to that. When I pointed out that the volume of the music was extremely uncomfortable, he scoffed at the idea that this could be a problem. Never again.

I've been training with Aaron for five months. He is the fourth trainer with whom I have worked over the past few years and the first to whom I have committed two sessions per week. He is smart and experienced. He is attentive and invested in my success. He sees improvement when I can't and offers encouragement when I feel uninspired. He reminds me of my personal achievements and celebrates them in his gentle way. I've already achieved more than I thought I would!
