The teller was rude, made multiple mistakes, was slow, and generally offensive. I have been a customer for over 20 years and plan to switch banks based on the incompetence and unprofessional behavior I experienced yesterday in the early afternoon. What an incredibly unpleasant young lady I had to deal with yesterday! It took 1/2 hour to do something that should have taken 5 to 10 minutes. My time was wasted and I was treated rudely. Horrible!

Truist Bank has gone to hell since the merger. Suntrust was so much better. Have been with them for 17 years and I am transferring all my personal and business accounts to another bank. It's like dealing with kids at this bank. They don't know what they are doing for the most part. Employees don't care. If they continue like this it will be bought soon by Chase or another bank or it will go bankrupt. Amateurs from clerks to bank manager.

Wish I could give zero stars. Been banking w/them for 16 years and was so happy to finally get everything OUT of this place and to another bank down the road. Waited (1st in line) in lobby line for over 20 minutes w/no one even acknowledging my existence. Walked out, drove my car through drive-through to finally get service (and no, the drive through wasn't busy while I was standing in lobby).Sold a property and had a local law firm check to deposit. Teller tells me it'll take 7 business days to clear. Literally drove the check to the other bank down the same road - cleared in 24 hours - same as all my checks.Needed a cashier's check - $10.00 fee. Down the street? $3.00 fee. All of these three examples happened in the same month.They're rude too. Do yourself a favor, w/all the new banks opening in the area like weeds now, LEAVE Truist - fast!

The slowest customer service. Sat at the teller for over 15 minutes before someone even came and talked to me. I would have left but I already sent my money and ID through the carrier tunnel. Try to avoid this place

Absolutely horrible. Waited 30 minutes in line for them to refuse to cash a check my grandma gave me because it was made out to “cash”. Truist is slow and bad at banking.

I wish I could give it a zero score if I could. They have the most rude unprofessional old lady with glasses Monday April 22, 2019 12:54pm. She is very lazy and unwilling to provide me with the service of chasing my check. I been with suntrust for 3 years and never had a problem. Today I showed up with another check in my name the lady didn't want to cash my check at all. She just said this is not you. I gave her my ID and my master card. She was too lazy to even type it up in the computer to verified my account. She said to me I never seen you before so the name in this check must be wrong. She didn't even check my account to check my complete name. My middle name is abbreviated on my MasterCard since it's long but she just went by,..well it's not your first name so I am not going to cash it. I felt discriminated if that's the right word to use, at not being provided the profesional service I deserve. Worst experience ever, suck being left out because the employee here lacks initiative, and just lacks willingness to work.

Avoid SunTrust at all costs! Find a nice local credit union to deal with. I opened a new account online and it was shut down within several days. I called at least 5 times and they could not tell me the reason why my bank account was closed and told me to go to a branch. The branch was not able to tell me why the account was closed, and told me to call 1800 number. All they tell me is that it was "due to rules and regulations" without citing a true reason.

They violate Regulation E to avoid paperwork and will close your account if you try to dispute it. SunTrust should be avoided at all costs.
