I have been with Allstate before Rob Dyer took over. I think the team is even more helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns now than when I first began. Had an accident and new teen driver and they told me exactly what needed to be done each time. Allstate is my favorite insurance company to date. Thank you for your guidance and keep up the great work!

To learn more about the policy, I called the company. They promised to get back to me with a quote by the end of the day, but nothing of the sort ever transpired. They do have a severe customer service problem.

Rob Dyer is the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke with. Called him this morning regarding my policy that was canceled with them in September. Story: At the time I was very sad to lose my insurance with allstate especially after being a member for almost 10 years. Upon reviewing what took place with my policy and why it got canceled. I found out I missed 2 payments. I was dealing with the final stages of my dad having cancer, whom we recently lost a few weeks ago. Not using that as excuse to miss my payments but want you to understand where my head was at. Anyways When I asked why I wasn’t contacted, I was given an apologize for them for being short staff. They call me all the time to check up on me so I was confused a simple phone call wasn’t made. I found out then they were sending my mail to a previous address that I never set to my mailing address. Again I been with them for almost 10 years. I moved a lot and they never have once sent any mail to my other addresses. So I have no clue why that changed recently. Allstate officially closed my account and when I asked if I have to pay for the two months I was told no and that I had no balance. That same call in November I also updated them my new address and instructed them to stop sending my mail to my previous address. I thought everything was done between me and Allstate. 4 months later I got 50 points deducted from my credit score because I have a bill from them and they didn’t notify me because they were still sending my mail to my previous address. I paid my collection (not the issue here) but when I went to call rob dyer regarding this issue, he had no patience for my story, no sympathy for my lost, and was yelling over me when I was simply trying to address that I didn’t feel like this was my fault when I gave them my updated address in November. He even hung up the phone when he was done yelling what he had to say. Rob Dyer needs to learn how to talk to people, we are the customers and that is not how you conduct business. I will never come back to Allstate because of this experience.

I've moved around the country the last few years and am very familiar with switching my renter's and car insurance amongst AllState agents. First time I ever had any issues was with this office. When I moved out of the state of NC in January I called the office and asked to cancel my renter's insurance policy (I was no longer renting when I moved). They asked me to send an email with my policy number and effective date, which I did. No response. I called back and they said to send another email to a different address and that they'd get to it that day. Nothing. Meanwhile I had to transfer my auto insurance to my new state and my now my new agent is telling me I still have an active NC renter's insurance policy. This is over a month and a half later. I've never had issues like this before, I'd recommend seeking other agents in the area, especially if you plan to move. Not sure why this is so complicated, but upon scrolling through reviews I saw that someone else had a similar issue last year. I've typically been happy with Allstate, but not this office.EDIT:Unsure why the business replied saying I did not send the email in a timely manner. I emailed in January and requested to cancel effective same day and never heard back. I also have no idea why they mentioned California, as I have never been there. I simply meant that I have moved before, and gone through this game of canceling or changing insurance with various Allstate agents. I’ve never had a problem until now.

My gf tried to add me in her policy in the past week and Robert Dyer can’t do this simple thing. He instead added me to my gf’s dad policy lol. His subordinate, who ended up helping us, is better than this guy… THE OWNER ?

We have been with Rob Dyer Allstate Insurance since he took over from the previous owners of the agency. All the people there have been friendly and helpful. They are quick at responding to questions and getting things taken care of.

I have been a customer for Dyer Allstate agency for a while now. I want to the thank them for their professionalism and kindness. Real test for an agency is how they stand beside you in the moment of need. I have had situations where I was immediately able to get their honest and helpful advice. It helped me a lot trying to figure out the next steps. I very much appreciate the support I have received from Mr. Dyer and his team members.

Have been with Allstate for several years and finally cancelled. Overpriced, and zero personal service. Have had to file claims, asked for different quotes, and have never heard from Rob Dyer. Even cancelling took multiple phone calls and emails.

The representation of this company is lacking in communication. None calls you back basically ignore you and your requests when you call and I feel is intentional since I voiced my opinions that the office needs more training and especially in customer service. Called in February to cancel renters insurance thought I was good but I was NOT when I got a bill for august for renters they said I had to email the cancellation. I was not told this when I called in February Basically they said I was a liar I asked to have the call pulled since the calls are recorded but no response asked for a refund haven’t lived apartment since February and it’s August asked for my money was told can only go back 30 days this was over a month ago also sent Mr. Dyer the form signed through mail service and left messages NO Response radio silent! No money back!!! So sad most Dishonest Allstate Representation of this office ! Please don’t response with your BS I don’t need to hear your excuses we have been going in circles and you made it clear the customer ME IS WRONG!

NEVER EVER go with AllState. Any inspection agency will ask you which insurance you have and if you say allstate, they will say 99.5% of chances that allstate insurance WON'T help.I was with AllState for over 10 years and never had to claim, always had clean history.Our house had few minor cracks on interior walls which could go away by just repainting house and I had plans to repaint as painting was done six years before and it was time to repaint again. At the same time we had sudden health issues in family and we had to focus on the family first. We asked allstate to just give one month extra to get house repainted. But there wasn't any humanity or values for 10 years of relationship (with no claims). Shame!We immediately canceled the policy and some other company was able to give us new policy in just 40 mins (of course our history was clean).A genuine advice to all my friends, based on the experience, please avoid Allstate, if not, atleast try to avoid this Agent as they doesn't have any human values.

I have been with this agency for several years and I have been extremely pleased with the response time and having all my inquiries answered. Ms. Ledbetter and Mr. Carlos have been outstanding to work with and it's always great to know a familiar person at the office who can assist you. I would definitely recommend this agency for their service and excellent customer service.
