Little Treasures was a big part of our family for over six years. All three of our children were enrolled at some point. While there were some drawbacks over the years, such as large/frequent staff turnover, some questionable caregivers, and an unprofessional and unknowable owner, there were always a couple teachers that made us feel that the center was safe, well taken care of, and a good fit for our family. The center is inconsistent on following procedures and when asked about a specific policy and a rationale we received "I don't know, it's just our policy" from the owner. We eventually pulled our last child from the center due to a lack of communication on behavioral issues. While under the toddler classroom description on their website reads, "a parental daily report is given to update each family", this is not true. With no prior notes, talks from caregivers, or indications on concerns, we were asked for a much too serious phone conversation . The initial telephone call from the owner concerning behavior made it clear the center could not accommodate an energetic two year old boy and our time was limited. While individual teachers would report daily that our child was doing fine and having "great days", the owner asked "who was giving these positive reports" and told us just to assume that our child was being redirected. When looking into the timing of these 'redirections,' most occurred in the first 30 or so minutes of the day when only one caregiver was present. During this initial period, the caregiver leaves the children unmonitored to check-in families at the front door. The check in often entails lengthy conversations with the parents. Children ranging from infants to 5 years old are unmonitored during this time.At the same time, we began to be treated very differently by some of the staff members. We went from having great conversations, talking about the children, joking around, and absolute pleasantries (most of these at morning check-in) to silence, cold shoulders, and unexplained awkwardness. At that point we did not feel 100% confident that our two year old was being taken care of adequately and pulled him from the center.I ultimately believe we gambled going to the center for too long. A few of the staff are absolutely amazing and that is what kept us there; however, an incompetent owner, lack of compassion from staff, inconsistent procedures, and poor communication eventually led us to pursuing other options for taking care of our two year old.

The teachers were excellent, the playground expansive. It's the kind of place that your kids can run around all day and not be confined to a concrete 10x20 "rec yard" like they were on level 4 for double homicide. Everyone I know who went there loved it and before covid-19 there was always a wait-list.

We have three children at Little Treasures; a two and a half year old, and year old twins. Little Treasures is one of the best decisions we've made as parents. In fact, my wife and I used to work right beside Little Treasures and recently moved offices out to RTP, but we kept our kids in Little Treasures because we couldn't imagine them anywhere else. The happiest part of our kids days is getting to Little Treasures and seeing all their teachers first thing in the morning. The staff is amazing, and treat the kids like they are their own, and they consistently go above and beyond to make sure the kids are taken care. We looked at several "chain" daycares (Bright Horizons, La Petit, Goddard School), but they felt so sterile and we felt like our kids were a number to them. At Little Treasures, we feel like our kids are a part of a family. We also love the outdoor space at Little Treasures - it's absolutely perfect - over an acre of shaded area for the kids to play in. If you're considering a daycare for your child, Little Treasures is as good as it gets.

Little Treasures has truly been such a blessing to our family. There is nowhere else that we would send either of our two children. Both of our kids began attending Little Treasures as infants and our oldest now claps and shouts “yay!” when we pull into the parking lot in the mornings. The staff genuinely care about the kids and the families that attend the center. They are all so wonderful and many have become like friends to our family. Our oldest child talks about the staff constantly and asks for them by name, even on the weekends and at home. It is clear that she is so happy and comfortable at the center and with the staff. We are constantly so impressed with just how much she has learned and developed at Little Treasures. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Can’t tell you enough how disappointing this facility is. My husband and I started our search for daycares in October, with a due date of February and required care in May 2019. We put a deposit down for Little Treasures with 6 months notice and a guaranteed spot for our little one. I received an email from the Director, Jennifer, this morning after reaching out to her a few days ago to let her know I would be stopping by to meet the infant teacher and familiarize myself with the daycare, to let me know the spot is no longer available. The email was highly unprofessional and impersonal and provides us with less than 60 days to find another care provider for our daughter.I would not recommend Little Treasures to anyone looking for reliable care or a care provider that treats you and your little one as a priority. Extremely upset at the time and energy we’ve invested in this facility only to receive a short email at 6 AM letting us know we no longer have daycare for our daughter.

We love that Little Treasures offers a five star day care rating but feels like a warm welcoming home. Everyone at the center knows my child’s name even though he only attends two days a week. I can honestly say every time we drop off our son or pick him up the children are always engaged in meaningful play and learning and there is a feeling of calm and order. It is amazing what my child learns and does in just four hours. Finally, the outdoor play area is amazing and the best outdoor play space we have seen in a child care facility.

Our daughter attended Little Treasures for 1.5 years before we moved out of the area. The teachers were unbelievable, loving, caring and so friendly. Our daughter loved being at daycare and she learned so much from their lesson plans and activities. It was truly a relief to find a place where you can trust the staff and know they’re doing their best for your children. I recommend this facility to everyone! There’s so much love and learning for your children!

Our son has attended Little Treasures for over a year, since he was 10 weeks old. Our experience has been extraordinary! We love all of the teachers, each one has so much energy and so much love for our child. They are great at communicating lesson plans and the day's activities. This has been helpful so we can reinforce certain words or actions at home. The owner, Jennifer, is very flexible. She has been so great at letting us take full or half days and setting a schedule that works for our family. Little Treasures is affordable, accommodating, and full-licensed daycare. It may be in a renovated home environment, but the care and education is top-notch. I recommend Little Treasures to any family seeking quality care for their child.

I am so glad we found Little Treasures! My daughter loves going to school every day and I am confident that she is prepared for Kindergarten. All of the teachers are so wonderful and caring. The smaller class sizes allow for more individualized attention that you won't find in a larger center. We will definitely miss this place when she goes to Kindergarten.

My 4 year old daughter just started today and I can already tell that this is AN EXCELLENT learning center. The staff is intuitive, polite, courteous, helpful. They are worth every star and then some. I would recommend them to anyone

We thankfully found Little Treasures through word of mouth. We had our daughter at a large daycare center before we found Little Treasures and were not happy with the experience at the large daycare. Little Treasures was such a blessing...especially after the large daycare experience. At the large daycare, our daughter was just another child, fed processed foods, and had a poor playground area with limited space and old, dirty toys to play with. There was no shade and had more dirt than grass to play on. At Little Treasures, the employees truly care about the children and are well seasoned and the daycare is a smaller, more home-like environment which drew us in even more. The owner is very kind and willing to work with any family situation. The play area is 1.5 acres of privacy fenced in area with large sections for each age group, very shaded from all the huge trees, and they bring out water cups for all children to keep them well hydrated. They watch the weather and don't take the kids out in the heat of the day, but instead play early in the morning and late in the day when it's not so hot. My daughter was in the infant to 2 y.o. class which made me nervous at first, but she loved being around some babies and became very instinctive with the care of babies- feeding, being gentle, rocking their bouncer chair- and now is in love with babies- real or play- wanting to feed them, hold them, sing them songs. My husband and I had no reservations about Little Treasures from the start and it was a wonderful feeling knowing she was well taken care of while we were off working. We suddenly had to move because of a job change and it broke our hearts to have to leave Little Treasures. If we ever get to move back to the Cary area, that is exactly where we will have our daughter (and any future children) stay. We loved, loved, loved Little Treasures and we highly recommend it for everyone!

Little Treasures is a great daycare and preschool. The teachers are awesome with the kids. I love their outdoor space and playgrounds plus their flexible schedule. They aren't restricted to short recess breaks since there is enough play areas for the whole school. We also really liked the size of the daycare - not too big or small. The kids get to move around during the day and aren't restricted to just one classroom. I highly recommend it.

Little Treasures is hands down the absolute best daycare. Our 4 year old, who usually has a hard time adjusting to new environments, never skipped a beat or cried one tear from the moment he started at Little Treasures. We have a 7 month old at the school as well and couldn't be happier with the infant room The center is very cozy and feels like a home which is what we love about it! I can honestly say the teachers at this school truly love and care for every single child and it shows! We LOVE Little Treasures!

From the minute I stepped in Little Treasures School almost 6 years ago, I knew I wanted to send my children there. I was pregnant at the time with my first child, already feeling anxious about leaving my infant baby with complete strangers. I had already toured other large daycare centers and didn’t like the sterile atmosphere, tiny outside play area and large staff turnover. I had considered home daycares but wanted a little bit more structure and accountability and most of all, I was looking for a 5-star center. I didn’t think I would ever find the perfect place until I came across Little Treasures. It feels like a home and the best part of the facility is the giant shaded backyard with plenty of space for the kids to run around in a natural setting. The owner is very friendly, the teachers are caring and loving and did a fantastic job preparing my son for kindergarten. He just started ‘real’ school and is doing great. His kindergarten teacher told me she was very impressed on assessment day by how much he knew already and wanted to know where he went for pre-school. My younger son is 4 and although it is no longer convenient for me to send him there, I drive the extra miles out of my way to work every day so he can continue to go to Little Treasures. It’s his home away from home, and I just can’t imagine sending my child anywhere else.
